God must have been an artist, have you seen what he has created?
Clear cast fibreglass with car head light
160 x 170 x 100 cm
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth and they
were indeed created with beauty and artistry.
The world can best be described as an architectural masterpiece.
Its magnificence surrounds us and yet we do not see it.
Infact we take it for granted, and even deface it.
We would never throw a cigarette butt at a Michelangelo, but
the work of art we live in is unappreciated at best and at worst destroyed.
Seeing Gods’ hands as the artist and creator in his artwork, ‘the earth’,
we are reminded that the world is infact a breathtaking art piece.
When you look at its beauty again, I am sure you will agree that God
must have been the greatest artist of all.

The baby that shouldn’t be
2009
Silicon and Fibreglass
120cm x 120cm
There are approximately 216,000 babies born every day. Their beauty is undeniable. They are all
innocent, pure and deserving. From the moment their first breath is taken, we are under the spell
of the newborn. Each baby is perfect in its own right. Perhaps it is the miracle of their appearance,
which makes it so. We notice tiny fingernails which adorn little hands, and perfect lashes at the edge
of sleeping eyes. Everything about the baby is stunning. Regardless of the size of their ears, the color
of their skin, or where they are born we must cherish our beautiful babies. And yet not all babies are seen as the same. Sadly there are babies that come into this world that many think shouldn’t. It could be because of their gender, their situation, or simply just the way they look. Each day 25,000 babies will die through neglect, poverty and abuse. We all have a responsibility to act in saving the precious lives that come into our world everyday. And we must consider the live of all living creatures, both humans and animals.
Because all animals begin their lives as beautiful babies.

Tasmanian Tiger Today (Taz)

Fibreglass
150cm w x 190cm h x 50cm d
Tasmanian Tiger Today (Taz)
What if the Tasmanian Tiger was still alive today?
What if we tried to understand it and did not fear it?
What if we did destroy its’ habitat and wipe every last one from this earth?
What if we celebrated its’ life as much as we mourned its’ death.
What if the Tasmanian Tiger was alive today?
We would call him Taz.
