Lewis was one of Australia’s dwindling population of wild koalas.

In January 2020, bushfires ravaged his home and caused him severe burns, eventually leading to his death. But even before the fires hit, Lewis was at risk. Human activity has resulted in habitat destruction and climate change, all of which have significantly reduced Australia’s koala population over the last 20 years. This little koala pendant is a loving reminder that wherever we are in the world, we share a space with precious animals that deserve to be safe in the wild.
