Description This sculpture features a big tank. But here to save the day is a beautiful great elephant, crushing the tank to useless metal and leaving the world a little bit safer.
The elephant is symbolic on many levels. Elephants are one of the most iconic creatures on the planet, and also the largest. Its crushing weight shows physically the power of the natural world, yet also its importance. An elephant will always be worth more than a piece of machinery. Killing animals for the sake of war is one of the most senseless acts imaginable.
Yet it’s also a symbol of triumph. Elephants are one animal that has been massively impacted by the many wars that have raged through their homes. Their ivory tusks have always been a pull for poachers. But in war times, elephant poaching is even more rampant, their tusks sold off to buy resources to fuel the war effort. Now, the elephant is the victory. He has taken out the tank and created peace for us all.

Description The koala has always been beloved by the world, but the 2019-20 Australian bushfires elevated their story to the entire world and stole their hearts. 80% of its habitat, which was already rapidly disappearing, was destroyed and thousands of koalas were lost. Some were luckier, like the now-famous mother and daughter who were captured in a magical photograph that was shared across the globe as a symbol of love and hope. It captured the moment when the two koalas had escaped the danger of the flames and embraced each other on the side of the road. It is such a tender moment, filled with love but still expressing the fear that came with the flames. This photograph captured the hearts of the world. And it also captured ours.
On the anniversary of the 2019-20 Australian bushfires, we released this special sculpture based on the famous photo. Crafted in everlasting bronze, we have captured this moment as a tribute to all the wildlife that were lost in the flames and a reminder for us all of the importance of conservation and climate change if we are to protect our precious animals. Now you can take this limited-edition sculpture home with you as a symbol of solidarity with all Australian wildlife.

Description In 2019 and 2020, fires devastated Australia, tearing across the country at a terrifying rate leaving homes destroyed, livelihoods ruined, and many animals burned. Ellenborough Lewis the koala was pulled from the flames by the heroic Toni Doherty, who spotted the burned koala running into fires near Port Macquarie in NSW. The brave and loving actions of Toni gave Lewis another chance at life, a chance many of his fellow koalas did not get. Sadly, Lewis succumbed to his burns and passed away shortly after his rescue. Over 1000 koalas died in the 2019/2020 Australian Bushfires with 80% of their habitat destroyed. Already ‘functionally extinct’ this has led them ever closer to the threat of extinction. Heartbreakingly, Lewis has also joined the number of koalas who didn’t make it, having succumbed to his injuries.
This memorial to Lewis and Toni reminds us of the importance of human compassion and the role we all can play in conservation by simply stopping to lend a hand. The original monumental public sculpture has been donated to the Port Central Shopping Centre and the people of Port Macquarie by Gillie and Marc.

Description Ndotto's Story On the very peak of the Ndoto Mountains, in Kenya’s remote Northern Frontier District, a tiny newborn baby elephant was found confused, alone and scared in a throng of sheep and goats. This little calf had evidently become mixed up in the nomadic Samburu tribesmen’s livestock soon after he was born. It is probably that the human presence is what frightened his mother leaving the abandoned calf mixed up in the livestock. The traditional Samburu pastoralists here live in an extremely isolated and inaccessible area of Kenya, a beautiful and majestic landscape. Despite many of the Samburu people being sympathetic and use to living this life of coexistence between man, their livestock and the wild animals, sometimes human wildlife conflict can unintentionally create these kinds of tragedies.
Ndotto is part of Gillie and Marc's exhibition - The Orphans.

Description Dogman loves double shot espressos. The strong bitter taste, the warm and soul-enriching feeling you can only get from a hot drink, and the invigorating boost from the caffeine, made this the ultimate beverage for him. As he sat drinking his coffee, he felt a wave of peace rush over him. He could see Rabbitwoman from across the room and as their eyes met, he experienced a feeling like no other. He knew this special feeling was reserved only for the moments of drinking coffee with the one you love and from then on he knew he would be a coffee addict.

Najin and Fatu currently live at Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Kenya, where they are protected from armies of poachers while living out their final days in peace. Since visiting the northern white rhinos in March 2017, the artists have been on a mission to create positive change through their work. This sculpture is part of Love The Last, a social movement driven by public art to raise awareness, funds and support for some of the world’s most endangered species. Gillie and Marc are installing sculptures all around the world to tell the stories of these animals and ensure they don’t leave us forever.

Description ‘The Friendship Bench’ is not only a functional bench, but also an interactive contemporary sculpture from world-renowned public artists, Gillie and Marc. Incorporating their iconic characters Rabbitwoman and Dogman, you are invited to take a seat between them, inspiring conversations between friends, family, and even strangers! Rabbitwoman and Dogman tell the autobiographical tale of two opposites coming together to become best friends and soul mates. As unlikely animal kingdom companions, the Rabbit and the Dog stand for diversity and acceptance through love.
‘The Friendship Bench’ is a way of celebrating these differences rather than retreating in fear and division. Through ‘The Friendship Bench’, you are given the opportunity to take a moment and open yourself up to another with love and friendship, two of the most important things in the world. ‘The Friendship Bench’ is the chance to become Rabbitwoman and Dogman's friends, to make new friends, or just to take a photo to remember friendships.

Description Rabbitwoman has always fought for equality, standing not only for her rights, but also for the rights of everyone else. Now she is being celebrated, her work acknowledged and her inspiration eternalised in bronze.
Inspired by the international public art movement, Statues for Equality, this Rabbitwoman mini sculpture is a fun and quirky way to bring the gender equality movement into your own home. With only 4% of public sculptures representing a woman in the developed world, there is a major gender imbalance in how we celebrate achievements. The public art movement aims to reach more equality in public statues, creating new statues of the most inspirational women of our time, all around the world.

Description Everything is connected, from the tallest tree to the smallest ant. That’s why when one creature is threatened, they all are, including us humans! When the prey of one animal becomes scarce, the predator starves. Alternatively, if the predator is wiped out, the prey can become too plentiful wiping out plant life. This stack of endangered animals looks at the delicate balance, showing how they all hold each other up. But we’ve done it with extra fun! As you look at the hand standing hippo, we hope you smile, bringing all the animals into your heart and helping to make sure the tower never falls.

Description With the lift on the ban of rhino horns for traditional medicine in China, the plight of the rhino seems to be going from bad to worse. Struggling to leave the threat of extinction behind, the rhino is still being hunted mercilessly by poachers for its priceless horn. Tied to this awful fate, we need to push past this reality, making the world understand the worth of the rhino while it’s still alive, not just for its horn. This sculpture represents the shift of the consciousness of the world, from one of greed and extinction, to one of love and life.

Description The game of hide and seek conjures feelings from our childhood of safety, love and joy. Gillie and Marc believe that all people and all creatures have the right to live in a world where safety and love are the rule, not the exception. Unfortunately, safety is often seen as a privilege rather than a right for many species of animals. Endangered species have had to hide from humankind for far too long. With 'Come out, come out wherever you are', the artists call on the world to welcome these species out from hiding and into a place of safety and love.

Description This family of ducks out for a walk depicts what every child constantly forgets - that their parents have eyes in the backs of their heads. While four of the ducklings keep in line, focused on their mother as she leads them on, one duckling is ready to make a run for it, looking off into the distance and lifting his wings to take off. But Mother Duck sees it all, and is ready to rescue her baby when he strays too far for his wings and legs to carry him.

Description This incredible sculpture comes with a powerful message. It was inspired by Gillie and Marc's trip to Kenya to visit the last three northern white rhinos on earth, who humans have poached to imminent extinction. The artists have dedicated their lives to creating a legacy of these rhinos through their art, with the aims of raising critical awareness to save future species. It represents both the struggle and hope that remains, and is a smaller replica of the world’s biggest rhino sculpture that the artists installed in NYC in 2018.

Description Gillie and Marc have always admired budgies. These bright parrots are arguably one the most beautiful birds in the world, and are loved by so many people. As kids, Marc used to breed the Australian budgie, whereas Gillie would find excuses to visit her cousin’s English budgies (the latter being a few inches bigger). The artists also find this affectionate bird very relatable due to their adorable “pair bonding”. Believe it or not, budgies can be quite picky when it comes to finding a mate with each bird having its own desired personality criteria for its mate. In bonding, a male budgie will sing to his mate, bob his head at her, and feed her. A male and female budgie will touch beaks often and sit snuggled up against one another as well as preen each other’s feathers. Gillie and Marc’s budgies have been so well-received that they are working on a project that will see monumental, large-scale budgies installed into various locations all over the world.
