Climb aboard the wildest scooter in the world!

Have you ever seen an elephant ride a scooter? How about a giraffe? Picture this: a group of majestic creatures zooming together on a scooter in search of safety and survival. This vibrant, unusual team includes a hippo, a Masai giraffe, an Indian elephant, a chimpanzee, a Grevy’s zebra, a cheetah, a koala, a northern white rhino, an orangutan, a lion, and a mountain gorilla, all in the race against time.

These animals, each iconic in their own right, face a critical threat to their existence due to poaching and habitat loss. As their habitats shrink and human activities encroach upon their territories, their populations dwindle, leaving them vulnerable to extinction. The urgency of this issue cannot be overstated. For these magnificent creatures to have a future, we must act now. Their chance of survival lies in our collective efforts to protect the natural world and ensure that they have safe, thriving habitats.

The animals on this scooter are not just playful caricatures; they symbolise the plight of many species that share the same fate. By coming together, they show that every effort counts, and only through unity and awareness can we save these creatures from the brink of extinction. So, let's pedal together for change, raise awareness, and support conservation efforts. The time is now to act for the future of these incredible species!

Here are the remarkable animals featured in this wild ride, each representing a species on the brink of extinction, fighting for their survival in a rapidly changing world.

  • Koala: With their loveable appearance and distinct, eucalyptus-leaf diet, koalas are in danger due to habitat destruction and disease, particularly from bushfires in their native Australia.

  • African Elephant: As the largest land mammals, African elephants face poaching for their ivory and habitat loss, with their numbers steadily declining.

  • Masai Giraffe: Known for their striking patches, Masai giraffes are endangered due to habitat loss and fragmentation, as well as human-wildlife conflict.

  • Grevy’s Zebra: This unique zebra species is critically endangered, with less than 3,000 individuals remaining, primarily due to habitat loss and competition for water sources.

  • Lion: The king of the jungle is endangered due to hunting, habitat loss, and human-wildlife conflict, with populations plummeting in the wild.

  • Orangutan: Native to the rainforests of Borneo and Sumatra, orangutans are facing extinction due to deforestation, poaching, and illegal pet trade.

  • Cheetah: Known for their unmatched speed, cheetahs are threatened by habitat loss, human-wildlife conflict, and illegal wildlife trade, with their numbers in decline.

  • Northern White Rhino: With only two females left in existence, the northern white rhino is on the brink of extinction, mainly due to poaching for their horns.

  • Mountain Gorilla: Despite successful conservation efforts, mountain gorillas remain critically endangered, mainly due to poaching and loss of habitat in the African mountain forests.

  • Hippo: These large, semi-aquatic mammals face threats from illegal hunting and habitat loss, which have caused significant declines in their populations.

  • Chimpanzee: As one of our closest relatives, chimpanzees are endangered due to habitat loss, poaching, and the illegal pet trade, making conservation efforts crucial.
