Australian artists unveil 4-1/2 ton gorilla statue in NYC

A four-and-a-half ton bronze sculpture of a silverback mountain gorilla named King Nyani has found a home in Manhattan, New York City. The sculpture, by Australian artists Gillie and Marc Schattner, is meant to bring awareness to the endangered animals and to bring a new cultural amenity to the city amid the pandemic.
