Description
Big Boy is one half of the iconic duo Rabbitwoman and Dogman duo from artists Gillie and Marc.

Rabbitwoman and Dogman bring people together, outside of their ordinary communities, to have a fun through public art. The colourful sculptures encourage play and inspire a spark of joy in your day – whether you meet them outside your local café, or on the Avenue of The Americas in New York City.

Light-heartedness and humour are inspired through Big Boy, but for the artists, he extends to a symbol of global unity and acceptance, when partnered with Rabbitwoman. They tell the autobiographical tale of two opposites coming together to become best friends and soul mates.

As unlikely animal kingdom companions, the Rabbit and the Dog stand for diversity and togetherness through love. Without a definitive race, religion, or culture, they symbolize all people as one.

The size of the sculptures allows you to join in for a photograph, the work breaks the hierarchy of art, and brings you into its aura!
Gillie and Marc believe art is a powerful platform for change. Their art is multi-disciplinary, paying homage to the importance of togetherness, as well as the magnificence of the natural world, and the necessity of preserving it – for we are it, and it is us.

Referred to by the media as “the world’s most loving artists”, this artistic duo has worked side by side for 27 years, creating art as one and spreading the love they have for each other with the world. The artists first met on a film shoot in Hong Kong and 7-days later they ran away to Nepal to get married on the foothills of Mount Everest. They’ve been inseparable ever since.

Rabbitwoman and Dogman represent their relationship, and their hopes to share the love with the rest of the world.

Artwork Features
For the most part, fiberglass sculptures are the same as resin sculptures.

A resin sculpture is a work of art cast with the material fiberglass, a material that is perfect for making beautiful sculptures. Not only is it very light, but it is also incredibly durable and malleable making it the perfect material to mould into whatever intricate shape you like while knowing it will last for a very long time.

When creating beautiful sculptures in fiberglass and resin, Gillie and Marc like to have a bit of fun. Sometimes works are crafted in one bold color, sometimes they are splashed with many colors.

For every purchase of a fiberglass sculpture you will receive a certificate of authenticity, titled, signed, dated and editioned by the artists.
