Description
This little baby has already seen so much. He had the most amazing start to his life, being loved more than anything by his family. But he was given a sharp kick of the tough reality facing chimps in the wild. He has watched as his home fell around him. Has gone hungry because there is no food. And even had to run for his life as a hunter tried to snatch him to sell. Now, he’s on a mission. A mission to save chimp-kind.

Artwork Features
The iconic style of Gillie and Marc’s Thick Texture Paintings provide the tangible dimensions of a sculpture with the convenient spatial simplicity of a painting. Multiple layers of impasto are mixed with the paint. With each piece, Gillie and Marc are sharing a part of their unique experience through choppy brushstrokes and captivating visuals that create a harmonious image that is more than just a painting.

Please note: All canvases come stretched and ready to hang, however if you would like your painting to be framed, Gillie and Marc are happy to provide this service for you at your request. For framing enquiries please email us.

Care Instructions
It is important to keep your painting out of direct sunlight and not to lean anything against the surface of the canvas. If it gets dusty, it can be cleaned with a soft dry cloth.
