It’s A Beautiful Day
Sydney Children’s Hospital, New South Wales
A permanent installation for the Sydney Children’s Hospital, It’s A Beautiful Day was the result of a challenge to create a welcoming entrance to a place typically daunting for children. “It’s a representation of the positive and nurturing relationship between a father and his child,” says Marc. “It lets sick kids know that their parents are with them all the way, and the hospital is a safe place for that.” The bronze sculpture is 2.4 metres tall and stands outside the hospital’s emergency department.
