Description
"Whirlwind, the Fading Cheetah" portrays a striking scene where a cheetah, named Whirlwind, stands vigilantly amidst a background enveloped in soft pastel hues against a backdrop of deep black. The moving silhouettes represent the gradual disappearance of the cheetah's habitat, emphasizing the urgency of its plight. With a sense of urgency and poignancy, the cheetah's gaze conveys a mixture of determination and vulnerability, mirroring the uncertain future faced by its species. Through its powerful imagery and symbolic use of color and movement, the painting prompts viewers to confront the reality of habitat loss and the critical need for conservation efforts to preserve the cheetah and its environment before it vanishes into the shadows of extinction.

Artwork Features
In this highly expressive and passionate style Gillie and Marc have let their emotions run free in this explosive collection of freehand painting. Inspired by the styles of Brett Whiteley, Francis Bacon, and Jean-Michel Basquiat, Gillie and Marc have combined enamel paint with oil pastel to breathe life into the worlds most endangered species. Over the past five years, Gillie and Marc spent hours sketching and studying wildlife, travelling the globe to meet these animals up close. These sketches have now been brought to life in vibrant colour with love and passion. Each painting is created as a team with both the artists bringing their own emotion into every painting.

Please note: All canvases come stretched and ready to hang, however if you would like your painting to be framed, Gillie and Marc are happy to provide this service for you at your request. For framing enquiries please email us.
