Description
‘The happy snappers’ is a mix of two of Gillie and Marc’s most iconic sculptures, Paparazzi Dogs, and Rabbitwoman and Dogman.

Rabbitwoman and Dogman tell the autobiographical tale of two opposites coming together to become best friends and soul mates. As unlikely animal kingdom companions, the Rabbit and the Dog stand for diversity and acceptance through love.

The paparazzi dog were originally inspired by the words of Andy Warhol, “Everyone will be famous for 15 minutes”, and were created to give everyone their chance in the spotlight, to make everyone the celebrity they want to be. With Rabbitwoman standing on top of Dogmans shoulders, they both get their cameras ready. Rabbitwoman now joins Dogman on his mission to make everyone a star.

Expertly crafted in everlasting bronze, this impressive sculpture looms high above the crowds, impossible to ignore. Their clothes have been coloured, a speciality of Gillie and Marcs, giving an extra element of fun and excitement wherever they go.
