Artwork Features For the most part, fiberglass sculptures are the same as resin sculptures.
A resin sculpture is a work of art cast with the material fiberglass, a material that is perfect for making beautiful sculptures. Not only is it very light, but it is also incredibly durable and malleable making it the perfect material to mould into whatever intricate shape you like while knowing it will last for a very long time.
When creating beautiful sculptures in fiberglass and resin, Gillie and Marc like to have a bit of fun. Sometimes works are crafted in one bold color, sometimes they are splashed with many colors. For every purchase of a fiberglass sculpture you will receive a certificate of authenticity, titled, signed, dated and editioned by the artists.
Care Instructions Fiberglass sculptures are best kept indoors or under cover away from direct sunlight. They will require periodical maintenance. We recommend not placing your fiberglass sculpture outside however, if you choose to do so, please be aware that wear and tear will occur. Description A captivating bronze sculpture bench invites the public into a moment of playful interaction and reflection as a critically endangered hawksbill turtle sits firmly at one end, camera raised and pointed across the bench. On the opposite side, Rabbitwoman and Dogman — Gillie and Marc’s beloved Wildlife Warriors — lift their own cameras in response, returning the turtle’s gaze. Between them lies a wide open space, deliberately created for members of the public to sit, enter the scene, and become part of this exchange. The hawksbill turtle, with its intricate form and ancient lineage, symbolizes both fragility and endurance. By taking on the role of the photographer, the turtle becomes not the observed, but the observer — flipping our perspective and reminding us that wildlife, too, is watching humanity and the choices we make. Rabbitwoman and Dogman mirror the turtle’s gesture, their raised cameras symbolizing reciprocity and dialogue. Together, the trio creates a metaphor for seeing and being seen, a reminder that conservation is a two-way relationship — one that requires respect, awareness, and recognition. The cameras themselves symbolize memory, perspective, and the urgency of preservation. The Turtle Bench of Friendship becomes more than a seat — it is a symbol of vision, empathy, and the urgent call to safeguard the hawksbill turtle and the fragile oceans it represents before its image is all that remains.
Sculpture Title The Turtle Bench of Friendship
Animal Name Name goes here Conservation Status Critically Endangered
About the Hawksbill Turtle The hawksbill turtle is a critically endangered sea turtle species found in tropical coral reefs around the world, particularly in the Indian, Pacific, and Atlantic Oceans. Named for its narrow, pointed beak that resembles a hawk’s, the hawksbill uses this specialized mouth to reach into crevices and feed primarily on sponges, an unusual diet among sea turtles. Its beautifully patterned shell—composed of overlapping scales in rich amber, brown, and gold hues—has long made it a target for illegal trade, especially for decorative “tortoiseshell” products.
Beyond its beauty, the hawksbill turtle plays a vital ecological role by maintaining healthy coral reef ecosystems. By consuming sponges, it prevents them from overgrowing and smothering coral. However, the species faces grave threats from habitat loss, climate change, pollution, accidental capture in fishing gear, and the ongoing black-market trade in its shells. Rising ocean temperatures and sea-level changes also endanger nesting beaches and egg survival. Conservation efforts across the globe, including marine protected areas, stricter trade regulations under CITES, and local nesting protection programs, have helped slow the species’ decline. Still, the hawksbill turtle’s future depends on continued international cooperation to safeguard both the species and the delicate reefs it helps sustain.
How to Help Inspired by animals that Gillie and Marc met on their travels, we invite the public to discover and interact with these beautiful creatures up close and personal – this allows audiences to connect, take photographs and share their favourite species with friends and family.
With more exposure comes more awareness and builds on the love we already have for animals around the world. With love comes a greater sense of urgency to create a change and save all endangered animals.
The sculpture will be aligned with the hashtag #GillieandMarc and #LoveTheLast to raise unparalleled awareness about the sculpture’s cause across the globe.

Description This artwork, "The Unforgettable Day" by Gillie and Marc, beautifully captures a moment of connection and adventure. In this piece, Dogman is dressed in a formal blue suit and red tie, while Rabbitwoman embraces him from behind, wearing a bright yellow dress. They're riding a classic red scooter, a recurring symbol in Gillie and Marc’s work, representing freedom, movement, and shared experiences. The background explodes with dynamic graffiti-style patterns, giving the impression of energy, excitement, and spontaneity. The title, "The Unforgettable Day," suggests a special journey, one that will be cherished forever—perhaps a romantic escape, an adventure, or a defining moment in their lives. This piece is a perfect blend of pop art, street art, and storytelling, celebrating love, companionship, and the thrill of the open road.
Artwork Features The purest example of the artist’s freehand work, Gillie and Marc’s ‘Contemporary Line & Stencil Paintings’ are a stunning series that pairs unashamedly bold colors with deep black line work to form intimate moments featuring their signature alter egos, endangered wildlife and more. The carefully selected vivid colors and unmistakable imagery means no two pieces are alike and can have multiple meanings the more they are viewed. Gillie and Marc paint each unique canvas side-by-side ensuring love is engrained in every brushstroke of each one-of-a-kind work of art. Recently inspired by the pop style of Andy Warhol and the iconic stencils of street artists Banksy and Mr. Brainwash, Gillie and Marc expanded their collection with the edgy addition of using spray paint stencils on their canvases. The stark contrast of bright colors beneath a dark stencil breathes life into this limited series, embodying Gillie and Marc’s philosophy of the importance of accessible art by playfully bringing the street to the canvas.

Cast in bronze, the piece evokes the timelessness of human (and animal) connection while grounding it in the everyday ritual of shared moments. Behind Rabbitwoman, a spare seat invites passersby to join the ride, turning the sculpture into an interactive celebration of inclusion and togetherness. The Vespa symbolizes freedom and journey, while the act of drinking coffee—often a symbol of pause and reflection—suggests a balance between movement and mindfulness. They were on a mission to leave everyone they encountered with a smile but of course these two would only do it in style.
Artwork Features Gillie and Marc’s latest work is an exciting explosion between their painting and sculpture. With a love for both 2D and 3D work they have created a unique style of work which are in essence sculptured paintings.
Gillie and Marc spent a lot of their early creative life in Ubud, Bali. This was the home of painted wood carvings. They began to collect many Balinese wood carvings and learned how to artistically paint wood. Over the years they experimented in relief woodcuts looking to give it a contemporary feel. Much of their inspiration is looking at traditional art forms like bronze sculpture and wood carving and then creating ways to make it contemporary.
They are excited and proud to introduce their latest and favourite collection “Woodcut POP". These are carved wooden panels primed and sealed and then painted with a pop gloss enamel. These vibrant and exciting works allow the 2D paintings to fly off the wall giving excitement and dimension to wall art. Rabbitgirl and Dogman literally pop off the wall in a 3D effect. The modern explosion of colour and vibrancy is contemporary art at its cutting edge.
Galleries, collectors and corporates across the globe have already fallen in love with Woodcut POP with 10 major commissions now in progress.

Description Exhibited as part of The Harbour Sculpture Prize, July 30 - August 9, 2015, Deckhouse & Clarkes Point Reserve, Woolwich Exhibited on Woollomooloo Wharf, Sydney Exhibited at Jing'an Sculpture Park, Beijing Permanently located at Circle on Cavill Shopping Centre, Surfers Paradise Beach, QLD Gillie and Marc have spent the last 15 years based in Sydney, a city famous for its gorgeous surf beaches. The artists’ son, Ben, is an avid surfer. As a family they would hit the beach frequently to watch him catch waves. They found it absolutely mesmerising. The Wave Riders is a tribute to the lost art of tandem surfing. It was picked for display for the 2015 Sydney Harbour Sculpture Prize and was installed in Sydney’s Woolloomooloo Wharf for three months in the beginning of 2016. Surfing is a surprisingly social sport. Gillie and Marc also created The Wave Riders in the spirit of doing things together. Tandem surfing might have gone out of fashion in the sixtiese but these wave riders are perfectly in tune with each other, and able to find balance despite the odds. The sculpture is making waves around the world and has found a home both in the stunning luxury resort, Mantra Circle on Cavill in Surfers Paradise and the Jing'An Sculpture Park in Shanghai — the world’s biggest outdoor sculpture exhibition.

Description Sydneysiders are known for their gorgeous surf beaches. And despite what people think, surfing is a very social sport. Gillie and Marc created the Wave Riders as a tribute to what some might say is the lost art of tandem surfing and the spirit of doing things together. It was picked for display at last year’s Harbour Sculpture Prize and now can be found at Woolloomooloo wharf. Tandem surfing might have gone out of fashion in the 60s but these Wave Riders are perfectly in tune with each other, and able to find balance despite the odds. Gillie and Marc’s iconic hybrid characters, Dogman and Rabbitgirl, represent the ultimate odd couple – two individuals who love each other even though they don’t fit into the outside world’s expectations. They tell the artists’ own true love story and reflect their belief in embracing the diversity of relationship experiences.

Description One of the most intimate experiences we share as humans is also the simplest, sitting down on the couch together and sharing time over coffee and cake. It’s a time where we can nourish, support, and enjoy time with each other, a time that is cherished by many families all around the world.
But not everyone gets to share this same level of love and support. The world is currently experiencing the 6th mass extinction. More and more beautiful creatures are being pushed towards the threat of extinction and the reasons can always be linked back to us, humans. We have moulded the earth to suit our needs, indifferent to the effects on the other living creatures who share our planet.
This public sculpture experience is an invitation to join the best party in the world. Expertly crafted in bronze, the couch is ready and the animals are already partying, all that is left is for the public to take their seats.
Rabbitwoman and Dogman, the internationally beloved hybrid characters who have travelled the world spreading messages of love, acceptance, and adventure, play host to the party. They sit in the middle of the couch either side of an African elephant. Their guests; twelve of the world's most endangered animals. Rabbitwoman and Dogman have opened invited all these the animals as a symbol of love and support, welcoming them into their family and promising to protect them in every way they can.
The Animals The twelve endangered animals include; a hippo, Masai giraffe, African elephant, Bengal tiger, koala, chimpanzee, Grevy’s zebra, Northern white rhino, lion, mountain gorilla, orangutan and an Arabian red fox. They have each been invited to the party as representatives of some of the best-known species in the world. And yet they all are dangerously close to the same threat, extinction.
Hippo: One of the most recognizable animals, this blubbery giant has charmed the world, even though it’s considered to be one of the most dangerous! They are at major risk from poaching, with a 2006 study showing a 20% reduction in their populations over the past decade. They are killed for their meat as well as the ivory from their tusks.
Masai giraffe: The tallest living animal in the world, the giraffe tower over the savannas of Africa. It’s good that they do because a group of giraffes is aptly named a tower! As a whole, the giraffe is listed as vulnerable but the Masai and reticulated species are endangered. The Masai populations have been estimated to have declined by 52% in the past few decades, mainly due to habitat loss and poaching.
African elephant: The African elephant is the largest land animal in the world and wanders across 37 countries in Africa. They are a keystone species meaning they are crucial for their environment. They use their tusks to dig up dry riverbeds in the dry season, digging down to the water hidden underneath and creating water holes for others.
Bengal tiger: The tiger is the largest member of the feline family with a great roar that can be heard as far as two miles away. The Bengal tiger may be the most iconic out of all 5 remaining species and is even considered a charismatic megafauna, a large animal with such symbolic value and appeal that they are often used to gain popular support.
Koala: Koalas are the beloved icon of Australian wildlife, the adorable little marsupial with sleepy eyes and gigantic fluffy ears. They can be seen high in the embrace of eucalyptus trees, munching away on their favourite leaves for the vast majority of their day.
Chimpanzee: The chimpanzee is our closest living relative, sharing about 99% of our DNA. It’s even thought that we have a common ancestor who lived sometime between 7-13 million years ago!
Grevy’s zebra: With stripes as unique as our fingerprints, the zebra is an iconic member of African wildlife. Grevy’s zebra is the largest and most endangered and is more closely related to the wild ass than the horse, the more common plains zebras’ cousins.
Northern white rhino: There are two species of white rhino, the northern and southern. The southern rhino was thought to be extinct until the late 19th century when a small population was discovered in South Africa.
Orangutan:The orangutan, a critically endangered species of great ape found in the rainforests of Borneo and Sumatra, is facing severe population decline due to habitat loss, illegal hunting, and the palm oil industry.
Arabian red fox: The Arabian red fox, an endangered subspecies found in the Middle East, faces threats from habitat loss, hunting, and human encroachment, making conservation efforts crucial for its survival in the region.

Description As the wildebeest prepares to set out on its yearly migration, a phenomenal natural event involving around 1.5 million of her fellow wildebeest moving north to greener pastures, she hopes this time will be better. Although not threatened with extinction, she can see how the humans have devastated her habitat. She wonders if she has enough energy to put on yet another spectacular show in the migration so that the humans wake up to the wonders of the natural world and the importance of protecting it.
Artwork Features In this highly expressive and passionate style Gillie and Marc have let their emotions run free in this explosive collection of freehand painting. Description This sculpture is a smaller version of the monumental sculpture, The Last Three. The aim was to inspire, educate, and mobilize a global community to raise their voices, and affect real change against rhino horn sales. From a population of 40,000 there were only three northern white rhinos left when this sculpture was made, making them the rarest animal on earth. Their names were Sudan, Najin and Fatu. The Last Three will create a legacy of their lives to save future rhino species from extinction. Rhino horns are worth more than their weight in gold, so rhinos are under constant threat from armies of poachers. Gillie and Marc’s sculpture will be used to raise critical funds needed to protect the northern white rhinos of which there are now only two left (Najin and Fatu), and to encourage participation in a petition for approaching Chinese and Vietnamese governments about eliminating the demand for rhino horns.

Description In The Wonderful Two, Najin and Fatu will be connected in the middle in a design inspired by the ‘pushmi-pullyu’ from the classic Dr Dolittle books by Hugh Lofting. They will be connected in the middle, with their heads facing opposite directions trying to pull each other to safety, while constricted by the reality of their situation. Najin and Fatu have remained together in their fight to survive, but are stuck in the plight of Northern White Rhinos. This sculpture will continue to spread their message in innovative ways to inspire rhino conservation around the world.
Their horns will also be gold to symbolise the perceived value of the horns their species is killed for. This combination of striking visual elements is designed to disarm with the playful nature of the sculpture which is spreading a message that can be upsetting. By depicting them this way, Gillie and Marc do not want the sculpture to be unsettling but to be a celebration of the survival of the mother and daughter pair.
Gillie and Marc are creating a monumental public art for notable locations worldwide to spread the message and allow the world to meet, touch and love rhinos. Melbourne, Australia is the exciting second location, following on from New York City. ‘The Wonderful Two’ will be installed on the St. Kilda foreshore, as a statement that they support anti-poaching initiatives, and are working to better the planet. The St. Kilda foreshore location is picturesque, a stunning nostalgic seaside landscape and a place for fun and leisure. It is a popular tourist hotspot and the perfect location to host "The Wonderful Two"

Description High above the clouds, we can look down at the earth, watching the ant-sized antelopes crossing the Serengeti or the monumental trees of the Virunga forests descending to the size of broccoli. It’s a unique perspective that helps us to really appreciate the beautiful interconnectedness of everything. We are all tiny, but together we are huge.
Some of Gillie and Marc’s fondest memories have been looking at the world from this perspective, flying above some of nature's marvels in an aeroplane. They have taken thousands of photos of wildlife from above, flying across some of the most spectacular landscapes of Africa.
Now they have transformed these experiences into their very first exhibition of sculpture wall art. In a spectacular experiment combining traditional 2D paintings with sculpture, Gillie and Marc have recreated exactly how it feels to view these wild scenes from the sky. The tiny rhinos pop out of the wall as they go about their day, and the zebra herds gallop beyond the frame as they cross the plains of canvas to the unknown. Above A Wild World gives us a new perspective, capturing the very essence of what a bright future for all wildlife could look like.
Artwork Features This groundbreaking new style of sculpture wall art is merging the practices of sculpture and traditional paintings, creating a unique 3D work that conveniently hangs on your wall. Finished off with either paint or spray paint, the final product transcends the constraints of both traditional sculpture and painting to create a work of depth and substance.
Please note: All canvases come stretched and ready to hang, however if you would like your painting to be framed, Gillie and Marc are happy to provide this service for you at your request. For framing enquiries please email us.

Description The whole world is connected. Whatever happens in one part affects every other place. We are not separated into continents, countries, or hemispheres. The pollutants that run down the Mekong River are immersed in all water systems. The destruction of the Amazon affects the air we breathe. And the food waste of North America is causing food insecurity for all. We are one and we must work together if we are all to flourish.

They came to Amsterdam to experience the city's vibrant energy and were determined to make the most of their adventure. They stumbled upon a toy store that had a large selection of rocking horses. Seizing the opportunity, they jumped on a brightly colored one and began rocking back and forth, back and forth. They were having so much fun, and with each gentle swaying of their wooden steed, they could feel the world around them pulsing and rocking too. The bright lights of the city seemed to sparkle more vibrantly, and the sounds of people and laughter flowed like beautiful melodies. Description The World We Made follows Rabbitwoman and Dogman as they cruise through New York City on a bright red scooter, the Statue of Liberty rising proudly behind them. Painted in Gillie and Marc’s energetic pop-street style, the work celebrates freedom, adventure, and the power of love to shape the world we dream of. Bold colours and dynamic motion bring the scene to life, capturing a couple who see possibility everywhere they go — especially when they’re together.

Description A captivating bronze sculpture bench invites the public into a scene of modern connection as an endangered Grevy’s zebra sits in the center, flanked on either side by Rabbitwoman and Dogman. All three figures are absorbed in their iPhones, creating a tableau that blends the natural and digital worlds in a surprising and thought-provoking way. The zebra, placed at the heart of the bench, symbolizes rarity and fragility — as the most endangered of all zebra species, with only a few thousand left in the wild. Its presence between Rabbitwoman and Dogman emphasizes unity, reminding us that technology should not distance us from nature, but can become a bridge to awareness and protection.Rabbitwoman and Dogman — Gillie and Marc’s beloved Wildlife Warriors — mirror the zebra’s gesture, their phones held with focus. This shared act symbolizes the way information, stories, and empathy for wildlife now travel through our devices, spreading across the globe in moments. The trio’s posture, calm and open, leaves space on both ends of the bench, inviting the public to sit down, join them, and reflect on their own role in this global conversation. The Zebra Bench of Friendship is more than a seat — it is a reminder that while we live in a digital age, our responsibility to the natural world remains urgent.
Sculpture Title The Zebra Bench of Friendship
Animal Name Name goes here Conservation Status Endangered
About the Grevy’s Zebra The Grevy’s zebra is the largest and most endangered of all zebra species, found primarily in northern Kenya and parts of southern Ethiopia. Distinguished by its narrow black-and-white stripes, tall stature, and large rounded ears, it is adapted to arid and semi-arid grasslands where water and vegetation are scarce. Unlike other zebras that form large herds, Grevy’s zebras tend to live in smaller, loosely associated groups, allowing them to travel widely in search of food and water. Their diet consists mainly of tough grasses and shrubs, which they can digest efficiently thanks to a specialized gut. Over the past century, their population has plummeted due to habitat degradation, overgrazing by livestock, and competition for water resources. Hunting and human encroachment have further fragmented their range, leaving fewer than 3,000 individuals in the wild today. Conservation programs now focus on community-based management, habitat restoration, and protecting critical water sources. With continued cooperation between local communities and conservationists, there remains hope for the long-term survival of this striking and resilient species.

Description This zebra took a giant step up. Things had hit rock bottom for him, his home was being taken over by humans and he was constantly having to look over his shoulder for fear a poacher would be hiding in the bushes. He decided enough was enough, he no longer was going to live in fear. With a little help from his friends, the zebra found a way out. Climbing high above the destruction below the zebra began his upward journey. It was only up from here and he couldn’t wait to see what his new life had in store for him.

Style Woodcut Pop Art Description Dogman and Rabbitwoman loved to create art, a legacy of their love and their time together. Their favourite artist was Vincent Van Gogh, they loved the way he expressed himself through colour and brushstrokes. These two will continue to paint sunflowers so he too can go on to live forever.

Description With a full heart, Dogman and Rabbitwoman looked into each other’s eyes. Nothing could have prepared them for what happened. Description Gillie and Marc have always had a strong connection to whales. About ten years ago they took their children whale watching in New Zealand. It was there they learned that in Maori culture the whale’s tail symbolises speed, strength, protection, and the bond between animal and man. Even though whales play a crucial role in the marine environment, over half of all whale species are endangered. Gillie and Marc hope people will wear this tail pendant as a reminder of its symbol of protection and the special bond between man and animal. Whales desperately need human protection and this bond must be repaired!
Artwork Features Imagine if we could wear our art so close to our souls that we end up embodying its beauty and meaning. Gillie and Marc have always appreciated creative pieces of jewellery, so it was only a matter of time before they decided to think outside the jewellery box and take jewellery to a whole new level by turning it into art wear.
Gillie and Marc’s gorgeous range of art wear is handcrafted from the highest quality of hypoallergenic materials. And as a beautiful bonus, a percentage of profits goes to various notable charities to protect animals in need. So embody your art, and buy jewellery that can change the world forever.
Gillie and Marc’s sterling silver is made of 92.5% pure silver + 7.5% alloys (a mixture of metals: brass, copper and zinc). It is nickel free.
Care Instructions Clean your silver jewellery with a mild soap and water and then dry with a soft cloth. For more stubborn dirt, use a cleaner designed for silver use. Description Recently Gillie and Marc took a trip to Kenya to see the last three remaining Northern White Rhinos. A rhino is killed every six hours because of its horn. At this rate, all rhino species will be extinct in the wild in less than ten years and the Northern White Rhinos will be lost forever. In China, rhino horn sells for a million dollars. This makes it the most expensive commodity in the world and worth more per ounce than gold, diamonds or heroin. The most tragic part is that rhino horn is literally the same as our fingernails with no medicinal value. Gillie and Marc have raised over $17,000 for rhino conservation. They created this horn pendant because they believe this is the only type of horn anyone should wear. A percentage of profits from all art wear pieces goes towards protecting rhinos. Description Rabbitwoman and Dogman were wild to their soul and were so happy for it. The world had become tamed with humans separating themselves from the natural world. This wasn’t just bad for the wild, it was bad for everyone. They hoped they could bring the wild back to the world by showing how wonderful it is.
This is an important and exciting new focus for Gillie and Marc with a major New York show in January 2018.
Care Instructions It is important to keep your painting out of direct sunlight and not to lean anything against the surface of the wood. If it gets dusty, it can be cleaned with a soft dry cloth.

Description This sculpture presents a thought-provoking visual juxtaposition of the endangered elephant comfortably sitting on a grand sofa, with Dogman and Rabbitwoman flanking him on either side. This striking piece of art symbolizes the uncomfortable truths and pressing issues that society often chooses to ignore or avoid discussing. They wanted their trip to be perfect and so they each planned all the little details … every sight, bite and delight. To their dismay, when they showed each other their plans, their trip schedules didn’t match up! The only similarity was a visit to the Paris Zoological Park, since Rabbitwoman and Dogman both loved learning about conservation. So, they decided to go to the zoo first. While there, Rabbitwoman and Dogman met their friend hippo, and told him about their problem. He reminded them not to take life too seriously, and that a loving journey has no rules. The hippo said, “When you leave here, just wander together and see where life takes you.” Rabbitwoman and Dogman took their friend’s advice, and it led them right to Paris’ beautiful Eiffel Tower.
