TRAVEL WITH LOVEA life-changing global art project, that will unite the world togetherA SAD STORY Tensions and instability between borders are rising, with the world being increasingly clouded by fear and discrimination. The trend towards open and friendly multi-culturalism took a big hit in 2017, with an increase in travel advisories and groups of people being barred from certain countries. It’s an incredibly sad and frightening time. Discrimination based on religion, race, and national origin is at an all-time high, causing many to worry about the safety of leaving their homes. Barriers are being used to divide us. The global rise in nationalism has led people to feel they can no longer travel places where they once felt happy and welcome. It seems the world is forgetting that, as humans, we’re all the same. We’re all in this together. WHO ARE GILLIE AND MARC? Gillie and Marc, referred to by the media as “the world’s most loving artists” are extraordinary public artists who have worked side-by-side for over 25-years to create art as one. Their monumental bronze sculptures spread the message of love and conservation in major galleries and cities around the world, including New York, London, Singapore, Shanghai, Sydney and more! The artists and activists are best known for their beloved hybrid characters – Rabbitwoman and Dogman – who tell the autobiographical tale of two opposites coming together to become best friends and soulmates. Their art has raised hundreds of thousands in donations for the many wildlife charities and causes they support. A HAPPY ENDING: TRAVEL WITH LOVETravel with Love is a global public art project that’s re-uniting the world. In the face of closing borders, it stands for keeping minds open and love flowing. Gillie and Marc are creating interactive bronze sculptures featuring their iconic characters for leading cities across the world. When people see the familiar and beloved Rabbitwoman and Dogman in a city, they’ll know that they’re welcome there. As unlikely animal kingdom companions, the Rabbit and the Dog represent diversity and togetherness. Without a definitive race, religion, or culture, they symbolize all people as one. In response to the worldwide plight of refugees and immigrants, and changing border control policies, Travel with Love has been created as a stand for global unity. Connected by the public art project, each visitor (traveller and resident alike) will feel like next door neighbours. Understanding the significance of the travelling hybrid duo, those who come across them will know that the hosting location believes in peace, harmony, and progress. IT’S GLOBALTravel with Love has already begun, with dozens of organizations and cities across the globe expressing significant interest in this important project. The project was originally kicked off in New York City earlier this year, when an installation of the larger-than-life Paparazzi Dogman and Paparazzi Rabbitgirl was installed on Avenue of the Americas. “We are honored that Gillie and Marc chose to install these impressive and striking sculptures on the Avenue,” said Rockefeller Group Senior Vice President Bill Edwards. “These sculptures will not be missed, and their message will resonate for anyone who has the opportunity to see them. The sculptures are an excellent fit for the Avenue, which was created to honor the business and cultural ties between all the countries and cultures throughout North and South America. We are proud to host these creative, large-scale works of art that send an even larger message about equality and inclusiveness.” Major cities have already come on board to let people know they’re safe and welcome there:

Perth

Description Towering above you as you walk along the street, the pap dogs have their cameras ready to capture every second of your life. The sculpture series containing the paparazzi dogs went viral in 2013, commenting on the constant obsession of society to see every tiny detail of celebrity lives, no matter what the cost. This latest sculpture shows the dogs in a new colour; green, red, and blue. The overbearing nature of the sculpture makes you think about the age we are in, the generation of social media where everyone has a constant need to photograph the tiniest details of their lives. The dogs help us to question the importance of this, are we focusing on the wrong thing? Shouldn’t we be focusing on fostering real and lasting relationships rather than posting a facade of photographs for strangers to like? We should all put down the cameras and spend time with our real amigos.

Style Contemporary Pop Art, Romanticism, Adventure Description Dogman and Rabbitwoman loved to create art, a legacy of their love and their time together. Their favourite artist was Vincent Van Gogh, they loved the way he expressed himself through colour and brushstrokes. These two will continue to paint sunflowers so he too can go on to live forever.
Artwork Features Gillie and Marc’s latest work is an exciting explosion between their painting and sculpture. With a love for both 2D and 3D work they have created a unique style of work which are in essence sculptured paintings.
Gillie and Marc spent a lot of their early creative life in Ubud, Bali. This was the home of painted wood carvings. They began to collect many Balinese wood carvings and learned how to artistically paint wood. Over the years they experimented in relief woodcuts looking to give it a contemporary feel. Much of their inspiration is looking at traditional art forms like bronze sculpture and wood carving and then creating ways to make it contemporary.
They are excited and proud to introduce their latest and favourite collection “Woodcut POP". These are carved wooden panels primed and sealed and then painted with a pop gloss enamel. These vibrant and exciting works allow the 2D paintings to fly off the wall giving excitement and dimension to wall art. Rabbitgirl and Dogman literally pop off the wall in a 3D effect. The modern explosion of colour and vibrancy is contemporary art at its cutting edge.
Galleries, collectors and corporates across the globe have already fallen in love with Woodcut POP with 10 major commissions now in progress.

Description The painting features a highly detailed and realistically rendered Mandarin duck standing atop a bright yellow rubber duck. The contrast between the lifelike bird and the cartoonish, plastic toy creates a humorous yet thought-provoking juxtaposition. The bold red and blue background adds a pop-art feel, making the composition even more eye-catching. Gillie and Marc often use surreal and whimsical elements in their work to encourage reflection on deeper themes. This piece could symbolize the intersection of nature and human-made objects, questioning how we perceive authenticity versus artificiality. It also playfully highlights the idea of "fitting in"—a real duck standing on an imitation of itself, perhaps a metaphor for identity and belonging.
Artwork Features Bringing all your favourite things to life, from that pair of converse sneakers you wear every day to your most precious teacup, and pairing them with some of the most endangered animals in the world, Gillie and Marc are giving a unique perspective on the things we consider to be most important. Over the past five years, Gillie and Marc spent hours sketching and studying wildlife, travelling the globe to meet these animals up close. These sketches have now been brought to life in vibrant colour with love and passion. Each painting is created as a team with both the artists bringing their own emotion into every painting. Description High above the clouds, we can look down at the earth, watching the ant-sized antelopes crossing the Serengeti or the monumental trees of the Virunga forests descending to the size of broccoli. It’s a unique perspective that helps us to really appreciate the beautiful interconnectedness of everything. We are all tiny, but together we are huge.
Some of Gillie and Marc’s fondest memories have been looking at the world from this perspective, flying above some of nature's marvels in an aeroplane. They have taken thousands of photos of wildlife from above, flying across some of the most spectacular landscapes of Africa.
Now they have transformed these experiences into their very first exhibition of sculpture wall art. In a spectacular experiment combining traditional 2D paintings with sculpture, Gillie and Marc have recreated exactly how it feels to view these wild scenes from the sky. The tiny rhinos pop out of the wall as they go about their day, and the zebra herds gallop beyond the frame as they cross the plains of canvas to the unknown. Above A Wild World gives us a new perspective, capturing the very essence of what a bright future for all wildlife could look like.
Artwork Features This groundbreaking new style of sculpture wall art is merging the practices of sculpture and traditional paintings, creating a unique 3D work that conveniently hangs on your wall. By incorporating objects or cloth on the canvas with ample impasto, these works become so much more than just a painting. Finished off with either paint or spray paint, the final product transcends the constraints of both traditional sculpture and painting to create a work of depth and substance.
