Description The Old Barker Association commissioned Gillie and Marc to create an artwork to celebrate its 125th anniversary. The brief was ‘dare to dream…anything is possible’. Gillie and Marc created a life-size figure as a way to make the artwork more relatable for the students. Gillie an Marc wanted the sculpture to embody friendship, compassion, and commitment, so they had one Barker student carrying another younger student on his shoulders. The younger student, with the help if his friend, is able to reach for the starts. The feedback from the school was that the sculpture inspires the students to ban together and dream big – because as long as you have the help of your friends, anything is possible. Old Barker Boy Chris Russel (70) unveiled the sculpture and was joined by many special guests, including the current Head of Barker, Phillip Heath and former three Headmasters.

Description Barsilinga's Story Gunshots were heard during the evening of 13th April 2012 by the community of the Lpus-La-Mpasion area near Wamba in the Samburu tribal area of Northern Kenya. The next morning a severely wounded female Elephant, with a calf at foot, was spotted in the area. Bullet wounds in the chest area and front legs had rendered her barely able to even move, yet another victim of the ivory trade and a grizzly reminder of the suffering attached to each piece of ivory that is bought or sold. The mother's end was a painful one, full of suffering, and her calf would have been a victim too had he not been one of the lucky few rescued.

This is a sculpture that represents more than orphaned calves. This is a yearlong celebration of hope and strength for the generation who will grow up into the healthy and supported elephants of tomorrow thanks to the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. The future of their species in the wild relies on this young generation being strong. Strength we can all help to provide. Because by December next year, when this sculpture leaves London, they’ll have only 19 years left to defy the odds with another generation to follow. This is a sculpture for positive change. One we won’t let become a memorial.

Description "Being Bold" is a striking mixed media painting that challenges our perceptions of the urban landscape. A massive rhinoceros, rendered in a sleek, almost metallic sheen, stands defiantly in the heart of a bustling city, its presence as unexpected as it is imposing. The iconic red double-decker bus in the background serves as a stark contrast to the raw power of the rhino, emphasizing the animal's dominance over its man-made surroundings. This thought-provoking piece invites viewers to consider the fragility of nature in the face of human progress.

Description Bella was named by Bel Walker.
In a groundbreaking work of contemporary art Gillie and Marc are giving us a rare glimpse into what extinction looks like. With a close up of Australia’s most threatened bird and one of the world’s rarest parrots, the orange-bellied parrot, this unique form of conservation lets us see the last 50 wild individuals left on the planet with a beautiful close up.
“It can be difficult to imagine what extinction looks like so we wanted to create a work that would help the public visually understand what this means,” explains Gillie.
With 50 stunning paintings, the artists have captured the dwindling numbers of this endangered parrot in a series that can all fit on one wall. It is a sobering exhibit to help bring understanding to this important issue and inspire conservation.

Description In the deep jungle, high in the trees an unlikely goddess sleeps. Completely hidden by her ingenious spots she’s able to completely relax. But her life is not always so carefree. She is threatened by the actions of humans. They hunt her, destroy her home, and even steal her children to keep as pets. Now, she is coming down from the safety of the trees to ask for your help. Will you protect Bianca?
Artwork Features Sending you to a world of luxury and opulence, this range of gold leaf paintings shows Rabbitwoman and Dogman and all wildlife at their finest. Description Big Boy is one half of the iconic duo Rabbitwoman and Dogman duo from artists Gillie and Marc.
Rabbitwoman and Dogman bring people together, outside of their ordinary communities, to have a fun through public art. The colourful sculptures encourage play and inspire a spark of joy in your day – whether you meet them outside your local café, or on the Avenue of The Americas in New York City.
Light-heartedness and humour are inspired through Big Boy, but for the artists, he extends to a symbol of global unity and acceptance, when partnered with Rabbitwoman. They tell the autobiographical tale of two opposites coming together to become best friends and soul mates.
As unlikely animal kingdom companions, the Rabbit and the Dog stand for diversity and togetherness through love. Without a definitive race, religion, or culture, they symbolize all people as one.
The size of the sculptures allows you to join in for a photograph, the work breaks the hierarchy of art, and brings you into its aura! Gillie and Marc believe art is a powerful platform for change. Their art is multi-disciplinary, paying homage to the importance of togetherness, as well as the magnificence of the natural world, and the necessity of preserving it – for we are it, and it is us.
Referred to by the media as “the world’s most loving artists”, this artistic duo has worked side by side for 27 years, creating art as one and spreading the love they have for each other with the world. The artists first met on a film shoot in Hong Kong and 7-days later they ran away to Nepal to get married on the foothills of Mount Everest. They’ve been inseparable ever since.
Rabbitwoman and Dogman represent their relationship, and their hopes to share the love with the rest of the world.
Available in a few select colors. Please enquire to see what is in stock.

With Rabbitwoman seated elegantly behind Dogman, dressed in a striking red dress while Dogman sports a smart blue suit, the duo embody confidence, connection, and urban adventure. The towering buildings and bright cars echo the excitement and energy of the big city, while their calm expressions suggest a sense of harmony amid the bustle.
Artwork Features Gillie and Marc’s latest work is an exciting explosion between their painting and sculpture. With a love for both 2D and 3D work they have created a unique style of work which are in essence sculptured paintings.
Gillie and Marc spent a lot of their early creative life in Ubud, Bali. This was the home of painted wood carvings. They began to collect many Balinese wood carvings and learned how to artistically paint wood. Over the years they experimented in relief woodcuts looking to give it a contemporary feel. Much of their inspiration is looking at traditional art forms like bronze sculpture and wood carving and then creating ways to make it contemporary.
They are excited and proud to introduce their latest and favourite collection “Woodcut POP". These are carved wooden panels primed and sealed and then painted with a pop gloss enamel. These vibrant and exciting works allow the 2D paintings to fly off the wall giving excitement and dimension to wall art. Rabbitgirl and Dogman literally pop off the wall in a 3D effect. The modern explosion of colour and vibrancy is contemporary art at its cutting edge.
Galleries, collectors and corporates across the globe have already fallen in love with Woodcut POP with 10 major commissions now in progress.

Description Big Girl is one half of the iconic duo Rabbitwoman and Dogman duo from artists Gillie and Marc.
Rabbitwoman and Dogman bring people together, outside of their ordinary communities, to have fun through public art. The colourful sculptures encourage play and inspire a spark of joy in your day – whether you meet them outside your local café, or on the Avenue of The Americas in New York City.
Light-heartedness and humour are inspired through Big Girl, but for the artists, she extends to a symbol of global unity and acceptance, when partnered with Dogman.
Artwork Features For the most part, fiberglass sculptures are the same as resin sculptures.
A resin sculpture is a work of art cast with the material fiberglass, a material that is perfect for making beautiful sculptures. Not only is it very light, but it is also incredibly durable and malleable making it the perfect material to mould into whatever intricate shape you like while knowing it will last for a very long time.
When creating beautiful sculptures in fiberglass and resin, Gillie and Marc like to have a bit of fun. Sometimes works are crafted in one bold color, sometimes they are splashed with many colors. For every purchase of a fiberglass sculpture you will receive a certificate of authenticity, titled, signed, dated and editioned by the artists.

They feel like they are the perfect match, two peas in a pod, and are so happy to have found each other. They never want to be apart from now on. That means they can only land on a perch big enough for two. That’s not a problem for them, they’re on such a high of love they could make it anywhere.

Description In 2012, four rhinos mysteriously died in Targona’s Western Plain Zoo in Dubbo including a mother and her calf. Gillie and Marc wanted to create an artwork in their memory while also raising awareness for the need for rhino conservation.
Three black rhino mother and calf sculptures were installed at the Visitor Information Centre, the Dubbo Regional Airport and the front of the Zoo. The artists used images of the Zoo’s Black Rhino mother and calf Bakhita and Kufara as inspiration for the sculptures. Both the Director of Dubbo Zoo and the Mayor of Dubbo commented to the press on how well these rhinos linked Dubbo and the Zoo while highlighting the plight of wild rhinos.
Poaching is at unprecedented levels. In Africa, rhino populations are barely keeping pace. These sculptures raise awareness of their potential extinction while highlighting the importance of breeding programs.
“Artists Gillie and Marc have done an amazing job of capturing such an iconic species in a very lifelike and natural way,” said Matthew Fuller, Director of Dubbo Zoo.
“These sculptures reflect the community’s pride in the Zoo and the research and conservation endeavours that take place right here in our city,” said Mayor of Dubbo Councillor Mathew Dickerson. “I believe the sculptures in themselves may become iconic city attractions.”
“We were so happy to do this,” Gillie says. “Each of our rhino sculptures is a memento to the rhinos that were lost, a constant reminder of this endangered species and a message to protect threatened animals.”
