Description Borneo is the most endangered species of orangutan. With less than 800 left, this critically endangered orangutan needs a bit of help. Swinging through her trees with big, slow swings she is a target for hunters who will kill her for bushmeat and take her babies for the illegal pet trade. She has also seen her home destroyed, with the diverse rainforest turning into one big plantation.

Description Four Dogmen stand united, each holding a camera as they capture the world from their own unique view. Dressed in vibrant suits of yellow, blue, orange, and red, they reflect individuality within harmony — a celebration of diversity and shared purpose. Through Gillie and Marc’s signature pop-street style, Bound by Grace reminds us that while we each see the world differently, it’s our compassion, curiosity, and creativity that bind us together in grace.
Artwork Features The purest example of the artist’s freehand work, Gillie and Marc’s ‘Contemporary Line & Stencil Paintings’ are a stunning series that pairs unashamedly bold colors with deep black line work to form intimate moments featuring their signature alter egos, endangered wildlife and more. The carefully selected vivid colors and unmistakable imagery means no two pieces are alike and can have multiple meanings the more they are viewed. Gillie and Marc paint each unique canvas side-by-side ensuring love is engrained in every brushstroke of each one-of-a-kind work of art. Recently inspired by the pop style of Andy Warhol and the iconic stencils of street artists Banksy and Mr. Brainwash, Gillie and Marc expanded their collection with the edgy addition of using spray paint stencils on their canvases. The stark contrast of bright colors beneath a dark stencil breathes life into this limited series, embodying Gillie and Marc’s philosophy of the importance of accessible art by playfully bringing the street to the canvas.
Please note: All canvases come stretched and ready to hang, however if you would like your painting to be framed, Gillie and Marc are happy to provide this service for you at your request. For framing enquiries please email us.

Description If you could see your brain working, what would it look like? Would you see the synapses firing? Would different emotions make your brain work harder? What color would they be?
After studying the patterns of actual brainwaves, Gillie and Marc are bringing them to life in their most emotional exhibition, Brainwaves. Created with pure emotion, these paintings reflect the emotional state of the artists while painting. To encourage their minds into different emotional states, Gillie and Marc played a different song for each painting, tapping into their inner feelings and coaxing them onto the canvas. Brainwaves is a collection of emotions and the secret images they create.
This unique exhibition shows how much our emotions control our behavior. Your fear, excitement, and passion are what shape what you do. We give a lot of credit to our logical brain. But Brainwaves will leave you thinking, what’s really controlling those waves?
Artwork Features Abstract art is one of the freest styles, a style where the artists are not bound by the limitations of reality and can let their imaginations and emotions run wild. In their first abstract collection, Gillie and Marc have created a wonderland of colour, creating scenes of the world around them in a way that transcends the traditional. Inspired by the great abstract artists such as the Delaunays, Kline, and Kandinsky, Gillie and Marc have evoked a celebration of colour and joy, showcasing their emotions in a vibrant scene that is both beautiful and unique.

Budgie Right 10.2 x 5.9 x 21.2 inch (H*L*W) 8.8 lbs 26 x 15 x 54 cm (H*L*W) 4 kgs
Description Gillie and Marc have always admired budgies. These bright parrots are arguably one the most beautiful birds in the world, and are loved by so many people. As kids, Marc used to breed the Australian budgie, whereas Gillie would find excuses to visit her cousin’s English budgies (the latter being a few inches bigger).
The artists also find this affectionate bird very relatable due to their adorable "pair bonding". Believe it or not, budgies can be quite picky when it comes to finding a mate with each bird having its own desired personality criteria for its mate. In bonding, a male budgie will sing to his mate, bob his head at her, and feed her. A male and female budgie will touch beaks often and sit snuggled up against one another as well as preen each other's feathers.
The beauty and love evoked by this wonderful bird has been captured in these charming bronze sculpture pairs.
Artwork Features Gillie and Marc love working in bronze for many reasons. Bronze is a very hardy material and will last forever. As experts in coloring bronze, Gillie and Marc enjoy experimenting with their sculptures, adding a splash of color to brighten the work, making it even more unique. > Read more

Description To commemorate the deeds of the $7 million earning, seven-time Group 1 winner Buffering, Brisbane Racing Club commissioned Gillie and Marc to create a life-size statue of the legendary race horse. The statue stands at the front of the new infield entrance to Eagle Farm.
Heathcote said he believed Buffering’s never-say-die attitude was the reason the public took him to heart. “Australians love an underdog and he had all the qualities of a great fighter. He would get knocked down but he would get back up again,” he said. “And he did it in an era of sprinting greats.”
BRC Chairman Neville Bell said in the 152 years of Eagle Farm this was the first time a full-size statue had been unveiled. “From day one of this club it was always the plan to have a significant statue at Eagle Farm and we couldn’t think of a better opportunity than with Buffering,” he said. “He was a great ambassador for racing in Queensland and for the Brisbane Racing Club.”

The dogman, resplendent in a blue suit, and the rabbitwoman, adorned in a striking red dress, exude a sense of whimsy and adventure against a backdrop of kaleidoscopic colors and splashes, evoking a dreamlike world beneath the waves. This enchanting artwork seamlessly blends vibrant hues, playful characters, and a hint of fantastical exploration, inviting viewers to lose themselves in a reality where imagination knows no bounds.

Description Catwoman sits in her meditative way contemplating life with the pear in her hand. ‘How lucky I am to have this pear!” she thinks. Across different cultures, the pear represents fertility, wisdom, and health. And with the pear in her hand, she feels the ancient power rushing through her like a river. When she first saw the pear, she wondered whether she should wait to see if something better came along. But now that she has its ancient power, she wouldn’t swap it for the world. A pear in the hand is worth at least two in the bush.

Description Date of Birth: Estimated 2002
A wild lion who lived in Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe. Cecil was shot and killed by a trophy hunter on 2nd July 2015.
Inspired by the true story and the film ‘Born Free’, this sculpture is a celebration of an orphaned lion cub who was saved by a loving couple. In Northern Kenya, a game warden called George Adamson was sent to deal with a lion who killed a man. Finding three cubs that were left behind he took them home to his wife, Joy, naming them Big One, Lastika and Elsa. They raised the cubs themselves rehoming two at a zoo. But they had formed a special connection with Elsa. They decided to release her to the wild and started the difficult journey of teaching her to fend for herself. After a lot of setbacks including a lack of hunting skills, being attacked by a warthog, and even becoming seriously injured after a different attack, Elsa found her feet. With a lot of hard work and dedication, they taught her how to be a wild cat and set her free in Kenya. Elsa grew to have cubs of her own, starting a new generation of lions that would have never been.
In the sculpture, Elsa stands on a 1961 landrover surrounded by orphan cubs, 20 in total. There are also two couples of adult lions, George and Joy, and Bill and Virginia, representing the real-life couple who raised the little orphaned Elsa, and the actors who played them in the movie. The cubs symbolise the future generations of lions.
If you purchase any of the lions, 30% will go directly to the Born Free Foundation.

Gillie and Marc paint each unique canvas side-by-side ensuring love is engrained in every brushstroke of each one-of-a-kind work of art. The stark contrast of bright colors beneath a dark stencil breathes life into this limited series, embodying Gillie and Marc’s philosophy of the importance of accessible art by playfully bringing the street to the canvas.

Description Artemis and Athena are the sweetest of friends. They are older ladies who have been in the same family for a long time. They were always there to groom each other, share food, and offer oodles of affection. They really are best friends for life.
GENDER Female
AGE 28 and 35
It’s not only us who can make friends, chimps do too! Chimps can often be seen eating together, grooming each other, cuddling, holding hands, but it wasn’t entirely understood to what extent they were actually friends. As it turns out, they are.
In a study done in the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary in Kenya, chimps were observed to see how they interacted with each other, being paired as friends and non-friends. Once this was established, the researches gave them a task called “the trust game”. Here, each chimp got two choices, they can pull the “no-trust rope” which gives themselves a small non-desirable food (two banana pieces), or it can pull the “trust rope” which gives the other chimp they were paired with a much tastier and larger snack (three banana pieces and three apple slices). The important part was that if they pulled the “trust rope”, their pair has the option to pull it back, therefore giving them a big snack too.
The study found a big connection with friendship in this task. They were far more likely to pull the “trust rope” if they were friends with their paired chimp than if they weren’t friends. To put it simply, they trust their friends more. It seems that they can form deep emotional bonds with their friends.
HOW TO HELP Based off real animals that Gillie and Marc met while studying, the public will be able to meet individual animals. This will help them to realise that there are apes with unique personalities, thoughts and emotions. The loss of one individual is just as devastating as losing an individual human.
With public art, more people will come into contact with these sculptures, will stop and consider them, will take a photograph, and will discuss this with their friends and family. Through this increased exposure, the message of love, family, and conservation will be spread much further than any piece of art in a gallery ever could. It will bring people into close contact and will help them to fall in love. With love comes a greater urge to want to create a change and save the great apes.
The sculpture will be aligned with the hashtags #LoveTheLast and #ChimpsAreFamily to raise unparalleled awareness about the sculpture’s cause across the globe.

Description As this young male fills his lungs he begins to hoot. He uses this as a form of communication, telling his family where he is, where some delicious snacks can be found, or to show strength and dominance. As well as a great way to communicate, he also finds it enjoyable, building up to his loudest and highest voice before coming back down.
GENDER Male
AGE 5
The pan-hoot is a complex long-distance vocalisation for chimps. It can be separated into four distinct groups: introduction, build-up, climax and let-down. They start soft and low, getting faster in the build-up, becomes very loud and high, like a scream, then back down to a similar rate of the build-up to finally finish.
The pan-hoot is done by both male and females with the most frequent hooters being high-ranking males. It is commonly joined by other males to produce a chorus of call, but it can be an individual hoot too.
Hooting is done for many reasons. Chorusing is used to form cohesive groups of males and show dominance and strength. But chimps also hoot hen they see a fruit tree laden with delicious snacks, calling the others to come and join them. It is also a good way to communicate who you are, where you are, and to help distinguish who is in the group.

Description This young chimp has a lot to learn. He does this through imitation. Watching his mother closely he learns the important skills that any good chimp must know. He must learn to find food, build a nest, and use tools, as well as many more skills! He is a very eager student so he should have no trouble at all.
GENDER Female and Male
AGE 14 and 4
Imitation is a very important skill for learning. Young will copy the actions of those around them as they learn how to do things and react to stimuli. Chimpanzee are no different. But this is not a skill that all apes have, in fact, most apes are terrible at it. This just goes to show how close we are to our cousins.
Young chimps will often imitate as they learn how to use tools, how to climb, how to make a nest. A young chimpanzee will often be seen pulling leafy sticks down like their mother will when its time to build a nest. By observing their community and copying, young chimps will be able to learn all the skills necessary for survival.
Imitation is also seen on a spontaneous level. Chimps have been seen to catch yawns, just like we do. This has always been known as a sign of empathy. But it’s not just yawns, like human babies, chimps will mimic any facial expression. These sorts of imitations are not about learning any new skills, its more about social bonding.
