Description Born and raised in Melbourne, the culturally vibing hub of Australia has a special spot in Marc’s heart. With life and colour coming out of every tile, tram and sidewalk, this city is a go-to for Rabbitwoman and Dogman whenever they need artistic inspiration.
Artwork Features Gillie and Marc’s latest work is an exciting explosion between their painting and sculpture. With a love for both 2D and 3D work they have created a unique style of work which are in essence sculptured paintings.
Gillie and Marc spent a lot of their early creative life in Ubud, Bali. This was the home of painted wood carvings. They began to collect many Balinese wood carvings and learned how to artistically paint wood. Over the years they experimented in relief woodcuts looking to give it a contemporary feel. Much of their inspiration is looking at traditional art forms like bronze sculpture and wood carving and then creating ways to make it contemporary.
They are excited and proud to introduce their latest and favourite collection “Woodcut POP". These are carved wooden panels primed and sealed and then painted with a pop gloss enamel. These vibrant and exciting works allow the 2D paintings to fly off the wall giving excitement and dimension to wall art. Rabbitgirl and Dogman literally pop off the wall in a 3D effect. The modern explosion of colour and vibrancy is contemporary art at its cutting edge.
Galleries, collectors and corporates across the globe have already fallen in love with Woodcut POP with 10 major commissions now in progress.
Care Instructions It is important to keep your painting out of direct sunlight and not to lean anything against the surface of the wood. If it gets dusty, it can be cleaned with a soft dry cloth.

Description Gillie and Marc have always admired budgies. These bright parrots are arguably one the most beautiful birds in the world, and are loved by so many people. As kids, Marc used to breed the Australian budgie, whereas Gillie would find excuses to visit her cousin’s English budgies (the latter being a few inches bigger).
The artists also find this affectionate bird very relatable due to their adorable “pair bonding”. Believe it or not, budgies can be quite picky when it comes to finding a mate with each bird having its own desired personality criteria for its mate. In bonding, a male budgie will sing to his mate, bob his head at her, and feed her. A male and female budgie will touch beaks often and sit snuggled up against one another as well as preen each other’s feathers.
Gillie and Marc’s budgies have been so well-received that they are working on a project that will see monumental, large-scale budgies installed into various locations all over the world.
Artwork Features Gillie and Marc love working in bronze for many reasons. Bronze is a very hardy material and will last forever. Description It’s an unforgettable moment, to see the immense tail of a whale. For a fraction of a moment, this monumental ‘Y’ rises above the shimmering water before disappearing back into the depths. Beneath the sparkling surface of the great blue are all kinds of creatures. They hold the secrets of the history of our planet. But, growing larger than even the dinosaurs, the whales are perhaps the most important of them all.
Whales have captured our imaginations for centuries. But back in the day, we were doing most of the catching. In the late 18th century, whaling really found its stride. Huge numbers of whales were killed every year to fuel the Industrial Revolution. Whale oil was needed to lubricate all these new machines and factories, and also to light the homes of everyday people. Whales were also exploited for all kinds of goods, such as soap, perfume, clothing, and fish hooks as well as being a source of food.
With the Industrial Revolution came technological advancements. The 19th century brought exploding harpoons and steam-powered ships, allowing whalers to kill whales at an extraordinary rate. By the mid-20th century, most species of large whales were on the brink.
But hope was on the horizon. In 1982, the International Whaling Commission voted to ban commercial whaling. In 1986, this came into effect, and since then, many species and populations have rebounded. But not all.
There are still so many threats to whales today, even more so than before. The biggest culprits are climate change, bycatch/entanglement in fishing gear, plastic pollution, noise pollution, chemical pollution, and ship strikes. These threats affect different species differently as well as different populations. This makes whale conservation incredibly difficult.
Even with decades of protection, whales are very at risk. Currently, six out of the 13 great whale species are classified either as endangered or vulnerable. It’s estimated that 300,000 whales and dolphins are killed every single year because of bycatch. And that’s a conservative estimate. Despite conservation efforts, the North Atlantic right whale declined by 30% in the past 10 years. With only 366 left, this species is in serious trouble.
We all must become whale protectors. Whales are at the top of the food chain and are crucial for the health of the entire marine ecosystem. They are keystone species, important species that make a major difference to their environment. When whale populations plummeted, everyone suffered. Although counterintuitive, even their prey was negatively impacted. There became fewer krill and fish, despite their apex predator being gone. This goes against the Japanese government's argument that whaling is good for fish production. Protecting whales is also one of the best ways to mitigate climate change. Whales have an incredible part to play in capturing and storing carbon. Their huge biomass can store far more carbon than any other creature. And when they die, they sink, taking almost all that carbon down to the seabed, ultimately removing it from the carbon cycle.
Their poo is also the secret ingredient to creating the best carbon storage system in the world! Incredibly nutrient-rich, their poo works as a fertiliser in shallow waters. This is where the phytoplankton lives. Phytoplankton are the plants of the ocean and contribute over 50% of the oxygen in our atmosphere. They also capture around 37 billion tons of carbon dioxide each year. This is the equivalent of four Amazon rainforests. Whales are crucial for taking their nutrient-rich poop to nutrient-poor waters, transporting these precious nutrients to what would be desolate parts of the ocean and breaking up the layers of the ocean as they swim. Really, the oceans would be lost without whales.
For many people, as soon as the ban on commercial whaling came into action they believed everything was sorted. We had stopped hunting them so they’ll be fine now! This, sadly, is not the case. We must put the spotlight back on whale conservation and inspire the world to protect

Description After five wonderful years in New York City, Rabbitwoman and Dogman missed the ocean and decided to travel to beautiful Australia. When they arrived, they were mesmerised by Bondi Beach. They couldn’t wait to grab their board and go surfing together. While riding the perfect wave, they noticed a dark figure swimming beneath the surface. They had been warned of sharks, and thought this was surely the end. Then suddenly, a magnificent and gentle whale emerged from the water! As they rode next to the whale Rabbitwoman and Dogman’s love for whales grew as strong as their love for Bondi. They decided to dedicate the rest of their lives to wildlife conservation, to continue helping their friends around the world through love and art.

Description They Had Big Dreams captures Rabbitwoman and Dogman on their vibrant scooter and sidecar, racing toward endless possibilities. Surrounded by a flurry of graffiti and bold colour, the scene bursts with the excitement of imagination and hope. The piece celebrates the beauty of dreaming without limits — reminding us that life’s greatest adventures begin with a shared dream and the courage to chase it together.
Artwork Features The purest example of the artist’s freehand work, Gillie and Marc’s ‘Contemporary Line & Stencil Paintings’ are a stunning series that pairs unashamedly bold colors with deep black line work to form intimate moments featuring their signature alter egos, endangered wildlife and more. The carefully selected vivid colors and unmistakable imagery means no two pieces are alike and can have multiple meanings the more they are viewed. Gillie and Marc paint each unique canvas side-by-side ensuring love is engrained in every brushstroke of each one-of-a-kind work of art. Recently inspired by the pop style of Andy Warhol and the iconic stencils of street artists Banksy and Mr. Brainwash, Gillie and Marc expanded their collection with the edgy addition of using spray paint stencils on their canvases. The stark contrast of bright colors beneath a dark stencil breathes life into this limited series, embodying Gillie and Marc’s philosophy of the importance of accessible art by playfully bringing the street to the canvas.

Style Woodcut Pop Description Set against the backdrop of Big Ben, Rabbitwoman and Dogman ride a tandem bike through the streets of London. Their confident expressions and stylish outfits suggest they’re dreaming big — ready to take on the world together. With bright, stained-glass-like colors and bold outlines, this artwork celebrates love, ambition, and the magic of shared journeys.

Medium Sterling silver gorilla pendant and silver chain Style Contemporary Jewellery, Animals, Wild
Description Gorillas are so much like us: they’re highly social, they laugh out loud and, most especially, they form close-knit families. Gorillas are protective of their tribes, always ready to defend them against predators which, unfortunately, include humans. Given humans share 98% of our DNA with gorillas, Gillie and Marc think of these apes as family. So it seems only natural that we should have their backs. This family of gorillas reminds us of the need to help and protect our critically endangered cousins. Artwork Features Imagine if we could wear our art so close to our souls that we end up embodying its beauty and meaning. Gillie and Marc have always appreciated creative pieces of jewellery, so it was only a matter of time before they decided to think outside the jewellery box and take jewellery to a whole new level by turning it into art wear.
Gillie and Marc’s gorgeous range of art wear is handcrafted from the highest quality of hypoallergenic materials. And as a beautiful bonus, a percentage of profits goes to various notable charities to protect animals in need. So embody your art, and buy jewellery that can change the world forever.
Gillie and Marc’s sterling silver is made of 92.5% pure silver + 7.5% alloys (a mixture of metals: brass, copper and zinc). It is nickel free.
Care Instructions Clean your silver jewellery with a mild soap and water and then dry with a soft cloth. For more stubborn dirt, use a cleaner designed for silver use. Store your silver in a cool, dry place. Do not rub silver with anything other than a polishing cloth. Tissue paper or paper towels can cause scratches.

Description One of the topics that bonded Gillie and Marc on the night they met was their mutual love for and devotion to animals. Gillie had never been to Australia and she was dying to see a kangaroo. Marc promised he’d make sure she’d get to see one. Months later, Marc took Gillie to Alice Springs where they saw a mob of wild kangaroos. Gillie and Marc love kangaroos because physically they can’t go backwards which means they are always moving forward. Dogman and Rabbitgirl also live by the philosophy of not looking back because forward is where all the opportunities are.

Against a soft neutral background, the artwork captures the strength of companionship — a celebration of two souls moving forward with confidence and harmony.
Artwork Features Abstract art is one of the freest styles, a style where the artists are not bound by the limitations of reality and can let their imaginations and emotions run wild. In their first abstract collection, Gillie and Marc have created a wonderland of colour, creating scenes of the world around them in a way that transcends the traditional. Inspired by the great abstract artists such as the Delaunays, Kline, and Kandinsky, Gillie and Marc have evoked a celebration of colour and joy, showcasing their emotions in a vibrant scene that is both beautiful and unique. Please note: All canvases come stretched and ready to hang, however if you would like your painting to be framed, Gillie and Marc are happy to provide this service for you at your request. For framing enquiries please email us.
Care Instructions It is important to keep your painting out of direct sunlight and not to lean anything against the surface of the canvas. If it gets dusty, it can be cleaned with a soft dry cloth.

Description Born and raised in Melbourne, the culturally vibing hub of Melbourne has a special spot in Marc’s heart.

Description Together, they’ve ridden their vespa as well as a surfboard, skis, a scooter, a donkey, a whale, a hippo, a rhino and even a pair of crabs. Suffice to say Dogman and Rabbitwoman don’t feel obliged to do what everyone else is doing. Marching (or riding) to the beat of their own drum, this couple prefers to see the world from changing vantage points, so that they get to see all of it. So much so that when the opportunity to take a ride on a flamingo came along, their only question was, “Why not?”

Rabbitwoman and Dogman were just so excited to meet all their new wildlife friends! It was a perfect first day. Rabbitwoman had seen a giraffe that she was completely in awe of, and made it feel special by taking lots of beautiful photos. But when night came, something frightening happened. Rabbitwoman and Dogman were woken up by the ferocious roar of a lion pride! They had nowhere to run, and didn’t know what to do! Then all of a sudden, the giraffe they had met earlier ran to their rescue and whisked them away to safety. Rabbitwoman and Dogman loved wildlife and always treated it with kindness, and in return, it did the same for them.

Location La Piadina, Bondi Beach
Description In 2015, Gillie and Marc jumped at the chance to join world famous street artists such as Lister, Mulga and Birdhat bring their work to Bondi as part of the Activated Walls Project. On the first Monday of every month, both established and emerging artists are invited to paint murals on various Bondi locations as a way to breathe life into urban environments. As Bondi locals themselves, Gillie and Marc loved playing tribute to sunshine, waves and buff bodies. They painted their iconic Dogman and Rabbitgirl on the popular Italian café, La Piadina. Owner, Fausto Zizioli personally wrote to them, “Thank you! Firstly it was a great pleasure to meet you in person. We really love the soul you put on our walls.” Even though their mural has been painted over to make way for more artists to join in, one of Gillie and Marc’s Lost Dogs sculptures proudly sits on top of the café wall, where he spends countless days soaking up the rays, people watching. Read their blog post for a behind-the-scenes look on how the created the work and hear Gillie and Marc's thoughts on the project.

Description The koala has always been beloved by the world, but the 2019-20 Australian bushfires elevated their story to the entire world and stole their hearts. 80% of its habitat, which was already rapidly disappearing, was destroyed and thousands of koalas were lost. Some were luckier, like the now-famous mother and daughter who were captured in a magical photograph that was shared across the globe as a symbol of love and hope. It captured the moment when the two koalas had escaped the danger of the flames and embraced each other on the side of the road. It is such a tender moment, filled with love but still expressing the fear that came with the flames. This photograph captured the hearts of the world. And it also captured ours.
On the anniversary of the 2019-20 Australian bushfires, we released this special sculpture based on the famous photo. Crafted in everlasting bronze, we have captured this moment as a tribute to all the wildlife that were lost in the flames and a reminder for us all of the importance of conservation and climate change if we are to protect our precious animals. Now you can take this limited-edition sculpture home with you as a symbol of solidarity with all Australian wildlife.

The Statue of Liberty watches over them as a symbol of freedom, possibility, and enduring love. Their joyful connection reminds us that no matter where life takes us, love makes the journey unforgettable.

Description Gillie and Marc have spent the last 15 years based in Sydney, a city famous for its gorgeous surf beaches. The artists’ son, Ben, is an avid surfer. As a family they would hit the beach frequently to watch him catch some waves. They found it absolutely mesmerising. This sculpture is also modelled off the life-sized bronze sculpture, The Wave Riderswhich was a tribute to the lost art of tandem surfing. It was picked for display at last year’s Harbour Sculpture Prize and now can be found at Woolloomooloo wharf. Description Gillie and Marc have always been in love with the city of love. Shortly after they first met they explored Paris together on their bicycles. The artists plan to go back to Paris for a romantic getaway and to renew their wedding vows. ‘They Loved Riding Together’ is also modelled off ‘The Tandem Riders’, a life-sized sculpture in Perth. The artists won a tender to cement the sculpture right onto the road itself, among the cars as a way to address the city’s environmental concerns while representing diversity, companionship and alliance. Gillie and Marc are keen conservationists. This piece celebrates environmental sustainability while being a beautiful tribute to love and doing things together!

High up the Thredbo mountain, Rabbitwoman and Dogman start their snowy descent, racing each other to the bottom. They had so much fun here and always looked forward to their wintery adventure. They loved Thredbo as much as each other. Well, almost.
Please note: All canvases come stretched and ready to hang, however if you would like your painting to be framed, Gillie and Marc are happy to provide this service for you at your request. For framing enquiries please email us.

Description Rabbitwoman loved sunflowers. Here Dogman offers his love the most beautiful and biggest sunflower of all.
