Description In this vibrant and captivating painting, a stunningly colorful duck gazes down at its faithful companion, a rubber ducky. The juxtaposition of the real duck and the toy creates a whimsical and playful atmosphere, evoking a sense of nostalgia and childlike wonder. The painting, executed in the style of pop realism, captures the essence of the duck's affection and connection to its rubber ducky. This depiction symbolizes the enduring power of friendship and the ability to find joy and comfort in the simplest of things. It reminds us of the importance of cherishing the relationships that bring us happiness, regardless of their form or origin.
Artwork Features In this highly expressive and passionate style Gillie and Marc have let their emotions run free in this explosive collection of freehand painting. Inspired by the styles of Brett Whiteley, Francis Bacon, and Jean-Michel Basquiat, Gillie and Marc have combined enamel paint with oil pastel to breathe life into the worlds most endangered species. Over the past five years, Gillie and Marc spent hours sketching and studying wildlife, travelling the globe to meet these animals up close. These sketches have now been brought to life in vibrant colour with love and passion. Each painting is created as a team with both the artists bringing their own emotion into every painting.

Description Together, they’ve ridden their vespa as well as a surfboard, skis, a scooter, a donkey, a whale, a hippo, a rhino and even a pair of crabs. Suffice to say Dogman and Rabbitwoman don’t feel obliged to do what everyone else is doing. Marching (or riding) to the beat of their own drum, this couple prefers to see the world from changing vantage points, so that they get to see all of it. So much so that when the opportunity to take a ride on a flamingo came along, their only question was, “Why not?”

Description The Haast's eagle (Hieraaetus moorei, formerly called Harpagornis moorei) is an extinct species of eagle that once lived in the South Island of New Zealand, commonly accepted to be the pouakai of Maori legend.
The species was the largest eagle known to have existed. Its massive size is explained as an evolutionary response to the size of its prey, the flightless moa, the largest of which could weigh 230 kg (510 lb). Haast's eagle became extinct around 1400, after the moa were hunted to extinction by the first Māori. Gillie and Marc created this sculpture for Karamea which is a town on the West Coast of the South Island of New Zealand.

From big cats to apes, rhinos to hippos, cameras to that perfect cup of coffee, these towers remind us all that while our passions may differ, they’re part of what makes us special, and that it’s important for each of us to always celebrate the things we love most.

Description Gillie and Marc love a challenge. When the artists were commissioned by 101 Collins Street – a Melbourne landmark and home to some of the city’s most influential businesspeople – they knew they had to bring some warmth to this cold and emotionless skyscraper.
A water feature sits in the foyer which the artists wanted to utilise. They made Coming Home, two stunning bronze swans with wings out in full span to show them mid flight, flying home. The artists added a marble plinth just under the surface of the water so the swans look like they’re flying out of a pond. It created an instant atmosphere of companionship in Melbourne’s hectic business district.

Description Gillie and Marc have always admired budgies. These bright parrots are arguably one the most beautiful birds in the world, and are loved by so many people. As kids, Marc used to breed the Australian budgie, whereas Gillie would find excuses to visit her cousin’s English budgies (the latter being a few inches bigger).
The artists also find this affectionate bird very relatable due to their adorable “pair bonding”. Believe it or not, budgies can be quite picky when it comes to finding a mate with each bird having its own desired personality criteria for its mate. In bonding, a male budgie will sing to his mate, bob his head at her, and feed her. A male and female budgie will touch beaks often and sit snuggled up against one another as well as preen each other’s feathers.
Gillie and Marc’s budgies have been so well-received that they are working on a project that will see monumental, large-scale budgies installed into various locations all over the world.
