Look ahead, there’s a zebra crossing! The zebra was proud of his stripes. He thought they would lead him wherever he needed to go. If he followed the line of his stripes, he could find the water hole, the freshest grass, and all of his friends. As he roamed around the savannah, he felt safe and happy. He would always walk the line.

What is quick like a cat, has a coat of beautiful spots, and a majestic great horn on its nose? A leoparhino! A cross between a leopard and a rhino, this majestic creature holds the strength and beauty of two incredible animals. Even though they may be very different members of the animal kingdom they are both just as important, just as beautiful, and both deserving of protection. With this combination of animals maybe the rhino horn will be safer. With the traits of the leopard, the leoparhino can run faster, climb a tree, and use its claws to escape the poachers. Wouldn’t that be wonderful?

With a full heart, Dogman and Rabbitwoman looked into each other’s eyes. Nothing could have prepared them for what happened. Hundreds of butterflies flew out of the hands, all perfect and beautiful, flying in formation in a scene the two could never have imagined. Rabbitwoman and Dogman were driving towards the unknown, another of their adventures where they had no destination in mind. They had come across a part of the road they were a bit uncertain about. It looked beautiful but they had no idea how they would get back. It was too enticing not to try though. They were together so nothing could ever go wrong anyway. They went all the way.

Gillie and Marc’s latest work is an exciting explosion between their painting and sculpture. With a love for both 2D and 3D work they have created a unique style of work which are in essence sculptured paintings.

Gillie and Marc spent a lot of their early creative life in Ubud, Bali. This was the home of painted wood carvings. They began to collect many Balinese wood carvings and learned how to artistically paint wood. Over the years they experimented in relief woodcuts looking to give it a contemporary feel. Much of their inspiration is looking at traditional art forms like bronze sculpture and wood carving and then creating ways to make it contemporary.

They are excited and proud to introduce their latest and favourite collection “Woodcut POP". These are carved wooden panels primed and sealed and then painted with a pop gloss enamel. These vibrant and exciting works allow the 2D paintings to fly off the wall giving excitement and dimension to wall art. Rabbitgirl and Dogman literally pop off the wall in a 3D effect. The modern explosion of colour and vibrancy is contemporary art at its cutting edge.
