This is a sculpture that represents more than orphaned calves. This is a yearlong celebration of hope and strength for the generation who will grow up into the healthy and supported elephants of tomorrow thanks to the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. The future of their species in the wild relies on this young generation being strong. Strength we can all help to provide. Because by December next year, when this sculpture leaves London, they’ll have only 19 years left to defy the odds with another generation to follow. This is a sculpture for positive change. One we won’t let become a memorial.

Description Meet Tamu, a little bronze rhino with a big story.
Tamu’s sculpture captures the spirit of a real-life orphan who faced a heartbreaking start to life. Like so many baby rhinos, Tamu lost his mother — a tragedy that happens far too often. Sometimes, it’s nature. But more often, it’s the devastating result of poaching.
Today, all rhino species are endangered. Over the past decade, 9,885 African rhinos have been killed for their horns. Even though conservation efforts are making a difference, one rhino is still lost every single day. Their horns, falsely believed to have medicinal powers, are sold on the black market at prices higher than gold.
Through this sculpture, Tamu stands as a symbol of resilience, hope, and the urgent need to protect these magnificent creatures before it’s too late.

Description 2013 Installed permanently on the corner of Vincent and Beaufort St Perth Perth’s Beaufort Street represents the city’s artistic flair. After winning a tender for a street sculpture, Gillie and Marc were able to cement their artwork right onto the road itself, among the cars. Tandem Riders ticks all the council-requested boxes. “Local councils need public art that engages the community, brings together different constituents, and sends a message about the area,” says Marc. “This bike addresses the city’s environmental concerns, and the characters represent diversity – they appeal to all races, genders, and identities in a universal way.” Children in particular love to climb onto Rabbitwoman’s lap and help her steer the bike. Rabbitwoman is also taking a photo and when passersby see her camera it works as a reminder that this is a place worth remembering. Visitors then snap their own shots of the vibrant area.

Tapanuli Orangutan Races in the Vespa Side Car (Bronze Sculpture)
Description This is an enchanting bronze sculpture that masterfully melds whimsy with a profound message about wildlife conservation. In this spirited tableau, a Tapanuli orangutan, known for its distinct features and critically endangered status, grips the handlebars of a retro Vespa with unmistakable zest. The sidecar features a spare seat—an open invitation for the public to join the ride. This symbolic gesture transforms the sculpture from a playful scene into an interactive call to action, reminding viewers that the future of this species depends on human involvement and care. This joyful yet poignant composition invites viewers to smile at the unexpected sight of an orangutan confidently navigating a Vespa, while subtly urging them to confront the urgent realities of deforestation and habitat loss. “Tapanuli Orangutan Races in the Vespa Side Car” stands as both a celebration of the wonders of wildlife and a powerful reminder of our shared responsibility to protect and preserve it.
Sculpture Title Tapanuli Orangutan Races in the Vespa Side Car
Animal Name Name goes here Conservation Status Critically Endangered
About the Tapanuli Orangutan
The Tapanuli orangutan (Pongo tapanuliensis) is the rarest great ape species in the world, found only in the Batang Toru forest ecosystem of North Sumatra, Indonesia. Discovered as a distinct species in 2017, it is genetically and morphologically different from both the Sumatran and Bornean orangutans. Tapanuli orangutans live in montane and hill forests at elevations between 300 and 1,300 meters, feeding mainly on fruits, leaves, bark, and insects. They are highly intelligent, solitary primates that build nests in trees each night and play a vital role in forest regeneration through seed dispersal.
The Tapanuli orangutan is listed as Critically Endangered by the IUCN Red List, with an estimated fewer than 800 individuals remaining in the wild. Their survival is threatened by habitat loss, illegal hunting, and infrastructure development, particularly the construction of a hydroelectric dam in the Batang Toru region, which fragments their already limited habitat. Conservation organizations are working to protect remaining forest areas, establish wildlife corridors, and engage local communities in sustainable land-use practices. Without immediate and effective protection, the Tapanuli orangutan faces a high risk of extinction within the next few decades.
How to Help Inspired by animals that Gillie and Marc met on their travels, we invite the public to discover and interact with these beautiful creatures up close and personal – this allows audiences to connect, take photographs and share their favourite species with friends and family.
With more exposure comes more awareness and builds on the love we already have for animals around the world. With love comes a greater sense of urgency to create a change and save all endangered animals.
The sculpture will be aligned with the hashtag #GillieandMarc and #LoveTheLast to raise unparalleled awareness about the sculpture’s cause across the globe.

Description In Taxi Elephant, a lone elephant stands in the middle of a dimly lit New York street, towering over a classic yellow taxi. The contrast between the massive, organic presence of the elephant and the rigid, geometric structures of the urban landscape evokes a sense of displacement and wonder. The deep shadows and soft reflections on the wet pavement create a cinematic mood, reinforcing the surreal quality of the scene. Gillie and Marc paint each unique canvas side-by-side ensuring love is engrained in every brushstroke of each one-of-a-kind work of art. Recently inspired by the pop style of Andy Warhol and the iconic stencils of street artists Banksy and Mr. Brainwash, Gillie and Marc expanded their collection with the edgy addition of using spray paint stencils on their canvases. The stark contrast of bright colors beneath a dark stencil breathes life into this limited series, embodying Gillie and Marc’s philosophy of the importance of accessible art by playfully bringing the street to the canvas.

Nestled snugly in the sidecar, the endearing hairy-nosed wombat peers out with wide-eyed excitement. Sculpture Title The Amur Leopard and Hairy Nosed Wombat Race in the Vespa Side Car
Animal Names Name goes here Conservation Status Critically Endangered
About the Amur Leopard and Northern Hairy Nosed Wombat
The Amur leopard (Panthera pardus orientalis) is one of the world’s most endangered big cats, with fewer than 100 individuals remaining in the wild. It lives in the temperate forests of Russia’s Far East and northeastern China, where cold winters and rugged terrain shape its survival. Recognizable by its thick, pale coat and distinct rosettes, the Amur leopard is a skilled hunter that preys on deer and hares. Its population has declined due to poaching, deforestation, and loss of prey.
Conservation efforts, including anti-poaching patrols, habitat protection, and captive breeding, have helped the population grow slightly in recent years. Still, the species remains critically endangered, relying on continued human protection to survive.
The hairy-nosed wombat, specifically the northern hairy-nosed wombat (Lasiorhinus krefftii), is one of the most critically endangered mammals in the world. Once widespread across eastern Australia, it now survives only in a few small, protected areas in Queensland. The total population is estimated at around 300 individuals, confined mainly to Epping Forest National Park and a second reintroduced site at Richard Underwood Nature Refuge.
The species’ decline has been driven by habitat loss, competition with livestock for food, and predation by dingoes. Conservation efforts, including fenced reserves, habitat restoration, and supplementary feeding, have helped stabilize and slightly increase the population in recent years. Despite this progress, the northern hairy-nosed wombat remains critically endangered, and its survival depends on continued protection and the establishment of additional safe habitats.
Give Back to Love The Last Wildlife Fund With every edition purchased, Gillie and Marc will donate a percentage of proceeds to support Love The Last Wildlife Fund.

Description This painting is based off Gillie and Marc's monumental bronze installation depicting the greatest animal march on the planet, it will feature 60 of the world’s most endangered species led by a great mountain gorilla, one of our closest relatives, marching together to save the animal kingdom by re-wilding the world. Inspired by the witness statement and latest documentary by David Attenborough, this sculpture is on a mission to re-wild the world. For such a big and important issue there needs to be a big messenger. Therefore, this public sculpture experience will be the largest bronze sculpture in the world at 192 meters in length, the next largest being the Statue of Unity’ at 182 meters.
At the front of the march will be a great silverback mountain gorilla, the head of his family who will do anything to protect them. He reaches out his hand, inviting the public to take hold and join him as he marches to protect his wild family. Holding on to him will be a chimp and the rest of the animals will link together in a single procession. This northern white rhino is third animal in the march.
Artwork Features In this highly expressive and passionate style Gillie and Marc have let their emotions run free in this explosive collection of freehand painting. Inspired by the styles of Brett Whiteley, Francis Bacon, and Jean-Michel Basquiat, Gillie and Marc have combined enamel paint with oil pastel to breathe life into the worlds most endangered species. Over the past five years, Gillie and Marc spent hours sketching and studying wildlife, travelling the globe to meet these animals up close. These sketches have now been brought to life in vibrant colour with love and passion. Each painting is created as a team with both the artists bringing their own emotion into every painting.

Description Experience awe by sitting on a tentacle belonging to the world’s biggest octopus. This colossal sculpture, spanning an impressive 36 feet cradles some of our planet’s most iconic and endangered creatures within its eight limbs. One of the greatest joys and sources of wonder comes from the most natural place – the wild. Yet, the world is currently experiencing its sixth mass extinction event. We are losing species at 100–1,000 times the natural rate. More and more creatures are in trouble, with an estimated one million species heading towards extinction within the next decades. The reasons can be linked back to us – humans. Thousands of animals are facing imminent extinction unless we act now. With the same joy and love we get from being in these magical wild places, we must now heal them

Description
This whimsical and captivating bronze sculpture reimagines the formidable Asiatic black bear in an unexpected and playful setting: racing against time atop a classic two-wheeled bicycle. The sculpture depicts the bear’s sturdy, powerful frame balanced with surprising ease, its characteristic crescent-shaped chest marking visible as it pedals forward with determined grace.
By placing the Asiatic black bear—a species often associated with dense forests and rugged mountain terrain—into such an improbable scenario, the artist highlights the overlooked challenges these bears face in the wild. The contrast between the bear’s natural environment and the universally recognized symbol of freedom and progress, the bicycle, creates a compelling metaphor for the pressures imposed by human expansion and environmental change.
The piece invites viewers to reflect on the resilience and adaptability of the Asiatic black bear, a creature navigating a rapidly shifting world. Through this imaginative portrayal, the artist emphasizes the urgency of conservation and the importance of forging a sustainable coexistence between humans and wildlife.

Animal Names Name goes here Conservation Status Critically Endangered
About the Sumatran Elephant and the Bengal Tiger
The Sumatran Elephant (Elephas maximus sumatranus) lives on the beautiful island of Sumatra in Indonesia, but sadly, it’s now critically endangered. Once there were thousands roaming the forests, but today fewer than 700 remain. Their numbers have fallen because of deforestation, palm oil farming, and poaching, which have taken away much of their home and brought them into conflict with people. These gentle giants are smaller than African elephants, standing about 2.5 meters tall and weighing up to 5 tons, and they play an important role in keeping forests healthy by spreading seeds and helping new plants grow. With more care and protection of their forests, there’s still hope that the Sumatran Elephant can thrive again.
The Bengal Tiger (Panthera tigris tigris) is a powerful and beautiful big cat found in India, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Bhutan. Once widespread, its numbers have fallen sharply due to poaching and habitat loss, leaving only about 2,000 in the wild. In some areas, it’s now critically endangered.
These tigers are the largest of their kind, reaching up to 3 meters long and weighing around 220 kilograms. As top predators, they keep ecosystems balanced. Protecting their forests and stopping illegal hunting are vital to ensure the Bengal Tiger’s survival for future generations.
Give Back to Love The Last Wildlife Fund With every edition purchased, Gillie and Marc will donate a percentage of proceeds to support Love The Last Wildlife Fund.
Love The Last Wildlife Fund is a global conservation organization devoted to saving 21 of the most critically endangered animals on Earth. Artwork Features Gillie and Marc’s latest work is an exciting explosion between their painting and sculpture. With a love for both 2D and 3D work they have created a unique style of work which are in essence sculptured paintings.
Gillie and Marc spent a lot of their early creative life in Ubud, Bali. This was the home of painted wood carvings. They began to collect many Balinese wood carvings and learned how to artistically paint wood. Over the years they experimented in relief woodcuts looking to give it a contemporary feel. Much of their inspiration is looking at traditional art forms like bronze sculpture and wood carving and then creating ways to make it contemporary.
They are excited and proud to introduce their latest and favourite collection “Woodcut POP". These are carved wooden panels primed and sealed and then painted with a pop gloss enamel. These vibrant and exciting works allow the 2D paintings to fly off the wall giving excitement and dimension to wall art. Rabbitgirl and Dogman literally pop off the wall in a 3D effect. The modern explosion of colour and vibrancy is contemporary art at its cutting edge.
Galleries, collectors and corporates across the globe have already fallen in love with Woodcut POP with 10 major commissions now in progress.

Celebrity Animal received a huge amount of media exposure. The hashtag #bankstownfamous went viral on Instagram and the ‘celebs’ brought in significantly more visitors to the shopping centre. After the series was launched in Bankstown, it made its way to Sydney’s version of Hollywood – the Entertainment Quarter before moving on to the Jing'An Sculpture Park in Shanghai. “Jing’an is the world’s biggest outdoor sculpture exhibition so being invited to be there was a real career highlight for us,” says Gillie. “On top that, Shanghai is such a beautiful city with so much innovative and unique work that of course, we became very inspired.”

There's no place like home The Wizard of Oz was one of Gillie and Marc's favourite childhood movies, and when they set about creating a life-size Dorothy Gale they needed to find the perfect hybrid for her. They think they've found it in the cat. Dorothy might have only been a child when she went on her amazing journey through Oz, but she was also the smartest and most sensible one there. In fact, she quickly became relied upon and asked for advice. As any cat owner will tell you – they're very smart creatures, who can always be depended on and make great companions. They may be moody sometimes but they're always there. It's said that cats have nine lives, and that they always land on their feet. Dorothy was never harmed by anything on her journey. Even being knocked out by a hurricane and almost crushed by a house couldn't harm her. Although she coped with all these things, she didn't exactly take in her stride – she desperately wanted to go home. Cats might seem independent and adventurous but they also get scared easily and crave the attention of their owners, they often end up wanting to go home just like Dorothy. Gillie and Marc wanted to portray Dorothy caring for Toto, the dog she loved so much, even in cat form because Dorothy had empathy and concern for every single creature she encountered in Oz. So if any cat was going to get along with a dog, it would be Dorothy.

Description I just use my muscles as a conversation piece, like someone walking a cheetah down 42nd Street. The stag is possibly one of the most obvious and ubiquitous symbols for masculinity in our culture. Think deer heads mounted on the wall of a proud hunters lodge, and two stags locking their antlers to battle for a does attention. But, they spend their lives balanced on spindly ankles – darting and leaping like ballerinas and running away whenever they hear a loud noise or see a bright light. Arnie is an icon the self-made man and the embodiment of the American dream. Long before he was governing California, he was oiled-up and posing, in a manoeuvre so iconic you don't need to see his face to recognise him.
This is Arnie's most memorable pose, much more memorable than his wave from the podium when he was elected Governor. This is the pose that turned him into a bodybuilding icon and spurred millions to emulate his body. Arnie considered himself a sculpture, and Gillie and Marc continue to be fascinated by the way that he transformed his own body, as sculptors they're interested in the way he forced us to look at the male form in a new way. Gillie and Marc chose the stag head for him for it's complicated masculinity, it's second life as a decorative art form and it's European origin.

Description Mini-me, you complete me Gillie and Marc were drawn to Dr Evil because he made them laugh, and it was interesting to them that an evil character could be so funny. They also found themselves fascinated by his cat – a hairless breed that many would consider ugly, but that Evil showed great affection to, proving that he definitely did have a tender side. Dr Evil is supposed to be a parody of all the things that are truly evil, and of characters we would actually be scared of. His characteristics are taken to such an extreme that we are supposed to see him as nothing but ridiculous, so Gillie and Marc decided to put him in his most ridiculous pose but turn him into a hybrid to take seriously. Bears are animals to be feared by humans. They are incredibly intelligent and strong and powerful enough to really scare any campers who come across them. However, they are actually not mean creatures at all. Mothers show great affection to their cubs and they live in very social groups. Gillie and Marc saw parallels between these qualities of bears and Evil, and they thought that by turning him into this hybrid people might first take him more seriously, and then be prompted to think about some of his other qualities. After all, for all the scariness of bears in the wild we also sleep with teddy bears in our beds when we are children and can't help but feeling they are cute and cuddly.

Description I'm not bad, I'm just drawn that way. The rabbit is one of Gillie and Marc's favourite hybrids and they didn't just chose the rabbit for Jessica Rabbit because she married one and took his name. They saw qualities in the rabbit that were completely different to the qualities Jessica Rabbit is said to possess. Rabbit's are timid prey animals, with acute hearing and sight who become startled very easily. They run away at the slightest jolt, and get very anxious. Jessica Rabbit was depicted as a woman with endless confidence, who held men captive. Her impossible curves quickly became iconic and in Who Framed Roger Rabbit men constantly fawned and obsessed over her. It's definitely fair to say that if Jessica Rabbit were a real woman she would be very intimidating. So when Gillie and Marc wanted to create a life-size bronze Jessica Rabbit it was important to them to turn her into a hybrid that would make her less intimidating.

Description It’s great to be a blonde. With low expectations, it’s very easy to surprise people. You could be forgiven for considering poodles the pageant queens of the dog world they even seem to have a different posture than other dogs. They stand with their head held high and their chest out. Their fur is always perfectly permed and sometimes their owners even give them avant garde haircuts. Actually, they're one of the smartest dog breeds. They're easy to train because they pay attention, and are loyal to their owners. Poodles are also very sensitive; they can suffer terrible separation anxiety and flinch if they are touched unexpectedly. This is Pamela Anderson, as she will most likely be remembered in her high cut Baywatch swimsuit. For all the controversy she has courted in the tabloids over her career, she'll always be an icon because of her famous figure. Gillie and Marc are intrigued by the way the public reacts to a famous figure like this with doll like proportions, that can seem so far away from ordinary. As Gillie and Marc considered how to turn Pamela into a hybrid they learnt more about her contradictions. She has walked the runway for Vivienne Westwood and signed copies of her book at Wal Marts. She's married and divorced rock stars while campaigning fiercely for animal rights. During her time on the show that thrust her into the limelight she became the ultimate California girl, despite being Canadian. They feel they've found her perfect match in the deceptively clever poodle.

The Cheetah Bench of Friendship (Bronze Sculpture)
Description A captivating bronze sculpture bench invites the public into a moment of alertness and unity as a vulnerable cheetah sits at the center, flanked by Rabbitwoman and Dogman, all three holding binoculars. The cheetah, the fastest land animal yet one of the most at risk, becomes the focal point of this gathering, symbolizing both speed and fragility in a world where its survival hangs in the balance. On either side, Rabbitwoman and Dogman — Gillie and Marc’s beloved Wildlife Warriors — mirror the cheetah’s gesture, their binoculars raised in shared focus. This act of looking outward together represents vigilance, awareness, and the need to see clearly the threats facing endangered species. Their posture leaves open spaces at both ends of the bench, inviting the public to sit, lift their gaze, and join in the act of watchfulness. The cheetah itself embodies grace and urgency. By placing it between Rabbitwoman and Dogman, the sculpture emphasizes partnership: humans and wildlife side by side, keeping watch over one another and over the planet they share. The binoculars become a powerful metaphor. They symbolize perspective, foresight, and the responsibility to look beyond the present moment to safeguard the future. The Cheetah Bench of Friendship becomes more than a seat — it is a symbol of vigilance, kinship, and a call to sharpen our vision so that vulnerable species like the cheetah do not fade from view.
Sculpture Title The Cheetah Bench of Friendship
Animal Name Name goes here Conservation Status Vulnerable
About the Cheetah The cheetah is the fastest land animal on Earth, capable of reaching speeds up to 70 miles per hour in short bursts while chasing prey across open grasslands. Found mainly in sub-Saharan Africa, with a small population in Iran, the cheetah is built for speed—its slender body, long legs, flexible spine, and large nasal passages allow for incredible acceleration and agility. Unlike other big cats, the cheetah hunts primarily during the day, using its keen eyesight to spot and stalk antelope and other small to medium-sized animals before launching a rapid sprint to capture them.
Despite its remarkable adaptations, the cheetah faces serious challenges in the wild. Habitat loss, human–wildlife conflict, and declining prey populations have caused its numbers to fall dramatically, leaving fewer than 7,000 individuals remaining. Because cheetahs require vast territories to hunt, habitat fragmentation has isolated populations, limiting genetic diversity and reducing breeding success. Illegal wildlife trade and competition with larger predators such as lions and hyenas further threaten their survival. Conservation programs now focus on protecting open landscapes, promoting coexistence with local communities, and maintaining genetic health through managed breeding. These efforts are crucial to ensure that the world’s most graceful sprinter continues to roam the African plains.
How to Help Inspired by animals that Gillie and Marc met on their travels, we invite the public to discover and interact with these beautiful creatures up close and personal – this allows audiences to connect, take photographs and share their favourite species with friends and family.

The Chimp and Koala Race on the Vespa (Bronze Sculpture)
Description This bronze sculpture captures the whimsical essence of an unexpected friendship between two critically endangered species. The piece features a Western chimpanzee and a koala—both teetering on the edge of extinction—riding together on a classic Vespa scooter. The chimp, with an infectious grin, confidently grips the handlebars, embodying curiosity, intelligence, and resilience. The koala, clutching the chimp’s waist with gentle determination, gazes out with wide-eyed wonder, symbolizing innocence and vulnerability. Behind them, a spare seat beckons the public to jump on and join the journey—a joyful invitation to become part of the movement for conservation and awareness.
While the sculpture’s playful humor instantly charms viewers, its message runs deep. It shines a light on the devastating reality that both the Western chimpanzee and the koala are critically endangered due to habitat loss, deforestation, and the escalating impacts of climate change. By pairing these unlikely companions, the artwork celebrates unity, cooperation, and hope—reminding us that all species are connected, and that saving one helps preserve the balance of the whole.
Through this endearing scene, Gillie and Marc invite us to ride along in the spirit of compassion and action—to protect these extraordinary creatures before they are lost forever.
Sculpture Title The Chimp and Koala Race on the Vespa
Animal Names Charlie and Kai Conservation Status Critically Endangered
About the Western Chimpanzee and the Eastern Koala
The Western Chimpanzee (Pan troglodytes verus) teeters on the edge of extinction, with fewer than 35,000 individuals left in the wild. Once thriving across West Africa, they now survive in fragmented forests scattered through Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, and Côte d’Ivoire. Their decline—over 80% in just a few decades—is driven by deforestation, hunting, and the destruction of their homes for agriculture and mining. These intelligent, emotional beings share over 98% of their DNA with humans, forming deep social bonds and using tools with remarkable skill. Yet every year, their forests grow quieter. Protecting the Western Chimpanzee means preserving not only a species but a mirror of our own humanity and the fragile beauty of the natural world.
The Eastern Koala (Phascolarctos cinereus), once a familiar sight in the eucalyptus forests of eastern Australia, is now sliding toward extinction. Fewer than 80,000 remain, and in some regions, numbers have dropped by more than 50% in just two decades. Their decline is driven by habitat loss from deforestation, urban expansion, bushfires, and prolonged droughts intensified by climate change. Koalas rely almost entirely on eucalyptus leaves for food and shelter, yet millions of their trees are cleared each year, leaving them starving, dehydrated, and vulnerable to disease—especially chlamydia, which can cause blindness and infertility. These gentle marsupials sleep up to 18 hours a day, conserving energy to digest their toxic diet, but their peaceful existence is being shattered by human activity. Without urgent action to restore forests and protect corridors of wild habitat, the soft calls of the Eastern Koala could fall silent, taking with them one of Australia’s most beloved and iconic species.

Inspired by the witness statement and latest documentary by David Attenborough, this sculpture is on a mission to re-wild the world. Therefore, this public sculpture experience will be the largest bronze sculpture in the world at 192 meters in length, the next largest being the Statue of Unity’ at 182 meters.

The bustling city background, filled with skyscrapers and lively colors, highlights the thrill of exploration and the joy of shared experiences. Rabbitwoman holds the handlebars confidently, while Dogman embraces her, embodying a sense of trust and affection. This piece reminds viewers that even in the busiest of places, love remains a guiding force.
Artwork Features The purest example of the artist’s freehand work, Gillie and Marc’s ‘Contemporary Line & Stencil Paintings’ are a stunning series that pairs unashamedly bold colors with deep black line work to form intimate moments featuring their signature alter egos, endangered wildlife and more. Gillie and Marc paint each unique canvas side-by-side ensuring love is engrained in every brushstroke of each one-of-a-kind work of art. The carefully selected vivid colors and unmistakable imagery means no two pieces are alike and can have multiple meanings the more they are viewed.

Description This miniature sculpture was based off Makena, a real cub in the care of the Born Free Foundation.
Makena's Date of Birth: Estimated 2012 A wild lioness living in Meru National Park, Kenya. She has had five cubs and is known as the protector of Elsa’s Pride.
Inspired by the true story and the film ‘Born Free’, this sculpture is a celebration of an orphaned lion cub who was saved by a loving couple. In Northern Kenya, a game warden called George Adamson was sent to deal with a lion who killed a man. Finding three cubs that were left behind he took them home to his wife, Joy, naming them Big One, Lastika and Elsa. They raised the cubs themselves rehoming two at a zoo. But they had formed a special connection with Elsa. They decided to release her to the wild and started the difficult journey of teaching her to fend for herself. After a lot of setbacks including a lack of hunting skills, being attacked by a warthog, and even becoming seriously injured after a different attack, Elsa found her feet. With a lot of hard work and dedication, they taught her how to be a wild cat and set her free in Kenya. Elsa grew to have cubs of her own, starting a new generation of lions that would have never been.
In the sculpture, Elsa stands on a 1961 landrover surrounded by orphan cubs, 20 in total. There are also two couples of adult lions, George and Joy, and Bill and Virginia, representing the real-life couple who raised the little orphaned Elsa, and the actors who played them in the movie. The cubs symbolise the future generations of lions.
If you purchase any of the lions, 30% will go directly to the Born Free Foundation.

Description "The day everything changed" is a powerful painting that captures a transformative moment in an imaginative and symbolic way. The artwork portrays King Kong atop the Empire State Building, holding Rabbitwoman and Dogman gently in his hand, while looking down at them with a tender expression. The vibrant sky of pop colors adds to the surreal atmosphere. This painting symbolizes the profound impact that unexpected connections and unlikely friendships can have on our lives. It represents the transformative power of empathy, compassion, and understanding, as embodied by King Kong's gentle demeanor towards Rabbitwoman and Dogman. The juxtaposition of the towering and legendary King Kong with the smaller, more vulnerable figures of Rabbitwoman and Dogman suggests the potential for profound change and growth that can come from embracing diversity and embracing the unfamiliar. Ultimately, the painting serves as a reminder that even in the face of great adversity, love, kindness, and connection have the power to change our world for the better.

Description A captivating bronze sculpture bench invites the public into a whimsical yet meaningful scene as a Père David’s Deer, an endangered species once driven to extinction in the wild, sits at the center of the bench holding a balloon. On either side, Rabbitwoman and Dogman join the deer, each holding their own balloon aloft. Together, the trio creates a vision of joy and lightness, inviting the public to pause, smile, and reflect. The deer, with its gentle stance and rare history of survival through human care, symbolizes hope, resilience, and the delicate balance of conservation. Its central position highlights its preciousness, a reminder that even species once thought lost can be saved when people choose to act. Rabbitwoman and Dogman — Gillie and Marc’s beloved Wildlife Warriors — mirror the deer’s gesture, their balloons floating upward in unison. The act of holding balloons becomes a metaphor for celebration and aspiration: a symbol of lifting spirits, carrying hope, and letting care rise above indifference. The open ends of the bench invite the public to sit down and join in, symbolically taking hold of their own balloon and adding to the shared celebration of life. xwThe Deer Bench of Friendship becomes more than a seat — it is a joyful reminder that protecting endangered species is not only a responsibility but also a triumph worth celebrating, filled with hope, resilience, and the promise of renewal.
Sculpture Title The Deer Bench of Friendship

About the Père David’s Deer Père David’s deer, also known as the milu, is a large deer species native to the marshlands of China. Distinguished by its long tail, large hooves, and uniquely shaped antlers that curve backward and then forward, it thrives in wet, swampy environments. Historically, Père David’s deer became extinct in the wild due to overhunting and habitat loss, surviving only in captivity after a small group was taken to Europe in the 19th century. From these captive populations, successful breeding programs eventually made it possible to reintroduce the species to protected reserves in China, such as the Dafeng Milu National Nature Reserve.
Today, Père David’s deer represents one of conservation’s most remarkable recovery stories, though it remains classified as “Extinct in the Wild” outside reintroduced areas. Ongoing challenges include limited genetic diversity and the risk of disease or flooding in its confined habitats. Despite these risks, continued protection and careful management have allowed the population to grow steadily, offering hope that this once-lost species will remain a symbol of resilience and the power of conservation.
