Description Gillie and Marc have always been interested in the ancient Egyptian art practice of putting an animal head on the body of a human. They are also dog-lovers and own a beautiful Weimaraner called Indie. So it only made sense they would create Dogman — a free spirit who is full of love and adventure. Gillie and Marc started to make sculptures and paintings of Dogman but soon realised he deserved a partner. Dogs are arguably one of the most loyal, affectionate beings on the planet and Dogman deserved a soulmate, someone to invite into his big, beautiful heart. As soon as Dogman laid eyes on Rabbitgirl he knew she was his true love. Artwork Features Imagine if we could wear our art so close to our souls that we end up embodying its beauty and meaning. Gillie and Marc have always appreciated creative pieces of jewellery, so it was only a matter of time before they decided to think outside the jewellery box and take jewellery to a whole new level by turning it into art wear.
Gillie and Marc’s gorgeous range of art wear is handcrafted from the highest quality of hypoallergenic materials. And as a beautiful bonus, a percentage of profits goes to various notable charities to protect animals in need. So embody your art, and buy jewellery that can change the world forever.
Gillie and Marc’s sterling silver is made of 92.5% pure silver + 7.5% alloys (a mixture of metals: brass, copper and zinc). It is nickel free.
Care Instructions Clean your silver jewellery with a mild soap and water and then dry with a soft cloth. For more stubborn dirt, use a cleaner designed for silver use. Store your silver in a cool, dry place. Do not rub silver with anything other than a polishing cloth. Tissue paper or paper towels can cause scratches.

Description Catwoman sits in her meditative way contemplating life with the pear in her hand. ‘How lucky I am to have this pear!” she thinks. Across different cultures, the pear represents fertility, wisdom, and health. And with the pear in her hand, she feels the ancient power rushing through her like a river. When she first saw the pear, she wondered whether she should wait to see if something better came along. But now that she has its ancient power, she wouldn’t swap it for the world. A pear in the hand is worth at least two in the bush.

Description This incredible sculpture comes with a powerful message. It was inspired by Gillie and Marc's trip to Kenya to visit the last three northern white rhinos on earth, who humans have poached to imminent extinction. The artists have dedicated their lives to creating a legacy of these rhinos through their art, with the aims of raising critical awareness to save future species. It represents both the struggle and hope that remains, and is a smaller replica of the world’s biggest rhino sculpture that the artists installed in NYC in 2018.

Description No matter where they are in the world, Dogman and Rabbitwoman are happy as long as they’re together. Vespas don’t travel well on snow, so they’ve traded in their signature mode of transport for a single pair of skis.
Exploring trails from the United States to Australia, they see the parts of the world their usual wheels could never take them. Description Exhibited as part of The Harbour Sculpture Prize, July 30 - August 9, 2015, Deckhouse & Clarkes Point Reserve, Woolwich Exhibited on Woollomooloo Wharf, Sydney Exhibited at Jing'an Sculpture Park, Beijing Permanently located at Circle on Cavill Shopping Centre, Surfers Paradise Beach, QLD Gillie and Marc have spent the last 15 years based in Sydney, a city famous for its gorgeous surf beaches. The artists’ son, Ben, is an avid surfer. As a family they would hit the beach frequently to watch him catch waves. They found it absolutely mesmerising. The Wave Riders is a tribute to the lost art of tandem surfing. It was picked for display for the 2015 Sydney Harbour Sculpture Prize and was installed in Sydney’s Woolloomooloo Wharf for three months in the beginning of 2016. Surfing is a surprisingly social sport. Gillie and Marc also created The Wave Riders in the spirit of doing things together. Tandem surfing might have gone out of fashion in the sixtiese but these wave riders are perfectly in tune with each other, and able to find balance despite the odds. The sculpture is making waves around the world and has found a home both in the stunning luxury resort, Mantra Circle on Cavill in Surfers Paradise and the Jing'An Sculpture Park in Shanghai — the world’s biggest outdoor sculpture exhibition.

His home was taken over by humans and he was constantly looking over his shoulder for fear a poacher could be hiding in the bushes, waiting to take his precious horn away. He decided enough was enough, he was no longer going to live in fear. With a little help from his friends, the rhino found a way out. Climbing high above the destruction below the rhino began his upward journey. From here it was up, up and away and he couldn’t wait to see what his new life had in store for him. Description Hippos are vulnerable to endangerment, their numbers dwindling as poachers eye up their tusks. But one species is so rare that hardly anybody has heard of it, the Tree Hippo. These beautiful animals are the stuff of fairy tales, elegantly perched in the branches of trees, seemingly weightless considering their great size. These hippos are the guardians of the African water holes, watching out over the few remaining holes that their fellow hippos love to wallow in. They try their best to keep order in these ever-shrinking pools, trying to find a way to save the remaining spots from the rising temperatures.

Dimensions 4.72 x 20.5 x 4.72 inch (H*L*W) 12.1lbs 12 x 52 x 12 cm (H*L*W) 5.5kg
Description This is a mini replica of a small chain in the monumental public sculpture Love The Last March. This section features a brown spider monkey (critically endangered), Jaguar (near threatened), and a giant Galapagos turtle (endangered). With habitat loss and fragmentation making life so difficult for the brown spider monkey and jaguar, and the history of hunters decimating numbers in the case of the giant Galapagos turtle, each species needs desperate help. They march together in the hope that they will all be able to live with dignity.
Inspired by the witness statement and latest documentary by David Attenborough, Love The Last March is on a mission to re-wild the world. The public sculpture experience is the largest bronze sculpture in the world at 192 meters in length, the next largest being the Statue of Unity at 182 meters. Depicting the greatest animal march on the planet, it features 45 of the world’s most endangered species, marching together to save the animal kingdom.
Love The Last March will be displayed at Gardens by the Bay in Singapore from May 2023 - May 2024.

Description This is a mini replica of a small chain in the monumental public sculpture Love The Last March. This section features an eastern lowland gorilla (critically endangered), chimpanzee (endangered), and Northern white rhino (critically endangered). These animals are all at very serious risk. The gorillas are threatened by civil wars, illegal mines, habitat loss, and hunters. Chimps are seeing their habitats destroyed, hunted for their meat and their babies stolen for the illegal pet trade. The Northern white rhino is the most endangered of all animals. Decimated by the greed of poachers after their precious horns there are now only 2 left in the world, both female. These animals march together in the hope that they will all be able to live with dignity.

Description When Rabbitwoman and Dogman were in Africa they didn’t care about the bugs or the sweltering heat. They didn’t care about the fact that they would be sleeping outdoors in a little tent. Rabbitwoman and Dogman were just so excited to meet all their new wildlife friends! It was a perfect first day. Rabbitwoman had seen a giraffe that she was completely in awe of, and made it feel special by taking lots of beautiful photos. But when night came, something frightening happened. Rabbitwoman and Dogman were woken up by the ferocious roar of a lion pride! They had nowhere to run, and didn’t know what to do! Then all of a sudden, the giraffe they had met earlier ran to their rescue and whisked them away to safety. Rabbitwoman and Dogman loved wildlife and always treated it with kindness, and in return, it did the same for them.

Description Leaping and darting through the foamy surf is a friendly dolphin, racing the lovers to the shore. Gillie and Marc created the original Wave Riders as a tribute to what some might say is the lost art of tandem surfing and the spirit of doing things together. It was picked for display at last year’s Harbour Sculpture Prize and now can be found at Woolloomooloo wharf. Tandem surfing might have gone out of fashion in the 60s but these Wave Riders are perfectly in tune with each other, and able to find balance despite the odds. Gillie and Marc’s iconic hybrid characters, Dogman and Rabbitgirl, represent the ultimate odd couple – two individuals who love each other even though they don’t fit into the outside world’s expectations. They tell the artists’ own true love story and reflect their belief in embracing the diversity of relationship experiences.
