Description
In To The Moon and Back in the Name of Love, Rabbitwoman and Dogman sit together as astronauts on the surface of the moon, wrapped in each other’s company as the universe opens around them. The radiant orange and blue background creates a feeling of wonder, adventure, and infinite possibility, while the bold black linework gives the scene warmth and playful charm. Full of tenderness and imagination, the work captures Rabbitwoman and Dogman proving that love can travel anywhere — even to the moon and back.
Artwork Features
In this highly expressive and passionate style Gillie and Marc have let their emotions run free in this explosive collection of freehand painting. Inspired by the styles of Brett Whiteley, Francis Bacon, and Jean-Michel Basquiat, Gillie and Marc have combined enamel paint with oil pastel to breathe life into the worlds most endangered species. Over the past five years, Gillie and Marc spent hours sketching and studying wildlife, travelling the globe to meet these animals up close. These sketches have now been brought to life in vibrant colour with love and passion. Each painting is created as a team with both the artists bringing their own emotion into every painting.
Please note: All canvases come stretched and ready to hang, however if you would like your painting to be framed, Gillie and Marc are happy to provide this service for you at your request. For framing enquiries please email us.
Care Instructions
It is important to keep your painting out of direct sunlight and not to lean anything against the surface of the canvas. If it gets dusty, it can be cleaned with a soft dry cloth.
