African Lioness Of The Wild brings this queen to meet you. Listed as vulnerable, this female must work hard to look after her pride. She and the other females are skilled with their coordinated hunting techniques but still, their numbers are rapidly decreasing. Her biggest threats are habitat loss from human expansion, human-wildlife conflict, and hunters.

This is a collection of 12 striking bronze busts, with the first edition currently on exhibition as part of the Faces Of The Wild conservation project in New York City. A partnership with the WWF to bring awareness for threatened species onto the streets of NYC.

Saving nature is at the very heart of WWF’s work. For over 60 years, the organization has sought to find solutions to help save the marvelous array of life on our planet, by applying the best science available and working closely with local communities who live near and among wildlife.
