There was something that Rabbitwoman and Dogman always had to do whenever they went to a forest. They had to hug a tree. Wrapping their arms around the trunk, huge great oaks or the peeling barked eucalyptus, they felt the energy of the tree coursing through them. Hugging a tree reminded them of this magnificent living being and let them give thanks for its life-giving ways. They were tree lovers.
