About the Exhibition
The Table of Love is an interactive public sculpture by Gillie and Marc celebrating connection, acceptance and the simple joy of coming together.

The artwork features the artists’ iconic characters, Rabbitwoman and Dogman, seated opposite one another at a table, with empty seats deliberately left for the public to join them. Although Rabbitwoman and Dogman are unlikely companions, they have always represented Gillie and Marc’s belief that our differences are something to celebrate rather than something that should divide us.

Here, they meet over a drink and invite anyone passing by to become part of the artwork. The empty seats transform the sculpture from something to simply look at into a place to stop, sit, talk and connect — whether with a friend, a family member or even someone you have never met before.

At its heart, The Table of Love is a reminder that there is always room for someone else at the table. It celebrates inclusion, friendship and living together in harmony, while encouraging people to slow down and share a moment with one another.

Set against the beautiful coastal landscape of Onslow, the sculpture has become a welcoming place for locals and visitors alike to sit alongside Rabbitwoman and Dogman and quite literally become part of their story.
