About the Exhibition:
A Wild Life for Wildlife is a global public art project that uses interactive bronze sculptures to inspire awareness and action for endangered species. Featuring Rabbitwoman and Dogman—Gillie and Marc’s iconic hybrid characters—the exhibition brings wildlife conservation to life in urban settings across the world. At each location, from London’s bustling streets to the iconic World Trade Center’s South Oculus Plaza in New York, the sculptures draw in visitors of all ages. Scenes like the African elephant buried in a book or a rhino locked in a game of chess challenge people to rethink their connection with wildlife. With QR codes accompanying each sculpture, visitors are transported to stories of the animals' lives, threats they face, and the urgent need for action. The exhibition creates a shared experience where art, education, and conservation come together. Part of the broader #LoveTheLast movement, A Wild Life for Wildlife serves as a call to action—inviting everyone to stand up for endangered animals before they are lost forever.
About the Project:
With the world experiencing the 6th mass extinction, A Wild Life for Wildlife highlights the critical need to protect our planet’s most vulnerable species. Over the last 50 years, 70% of wildlife populations have been lost, largely due to human activity. Through art, this project aims to make conservation accessible, bringing the wild into the heart of cities like New York and London. Rabbitwoman and Dogman, Gillie and Marc’s globally recognized characters, guide us on this journey. Through playful and thought-provoking interactions—whether sharing a tandem bike ride with endangered animals or listening to the sounds of the wild—the sculptures inspire visitors to connect emotionally with wildlife. The project aligns with the #LoveTheLast social movement, which uses art to drive awareness, raise funds, and ignite a global effort to save endangered animals. By placing wildlife conservation at the center of urban spaces, A Wild Life for Wildlife encourages people to take action.
