About the Exhibition:
Standing tall and proud on Sixth Avenue opposite Rockefeller Center, Paparazzi Couple brings an unforgettable sense of fun, love, and inclusivity to the heart of Midtown Manhattan. This permanent installation features the iconic duo — Paparazzi Dogman and Paparazzi Rabbitgirl — in an interactive, seven-foot-tall bronze form, inviting passersby to stop, smile, and snap a photo.

Commissioned by The Avenue of the Americas Association as part of their “Love the Avenue” campaign, the sculptures were created to celebrate the vibrancy of New York City and to promote messages of diversity, acceptance, and joy. True to form, Dogman and Rabbitwoman are caught in the act — cameras in hand, forever capturing the beauty and individuality of those who walk by.

Since their arrival, these sculptures have become beloved landmarks, attracting crowds who engage with the art, take selfies, and spread the message of love across social media with the hashtag #spottedonsixth. Their charm lies in their openness — New Yorkers and visitors alike are encouraged to hug them, climb on them, and become part of the scene.

Paparazzi Couple is not just public art — it’s a celebration of connection. It’s a playful reminder that in the rush of daily life, there’s always room for joy, diversity, and the unexpected delight of being seen.
