About the Exhibition:
The Paparazzi Dogs are the world’s most notorious (and beloved) photographers — a pack of life-sized bronze Dogmen created by Gillie and Marc that has taken the world by storm. First unleashed in Melbourne in 2013, these playful sculptures quickly went viral, attracting millions of visitors and celebrities alike, including Snoop Dogg.
With their cameras at the ready and an eye for the spotlight, the Pap Dogs explore society’s obsession with fame and the spectacle of celebrity culture. By flipping the lens, Gillie and Marc invite the public to consider how we interact with fame, media, and image — while also joining in on the fun.
Each sculpture is interactive and photo-ready, making them instant public favorites wherever they appear. From Shanghai to San Francisco, and now in permanent homes in Sydney, New York, and London, The Paparazzi Dogs continue to capture imaginations across the globe.
They may be dogs, but these photographers are no underdogs — they’ve become celebrities in their own right.
