Description
This baby rock wallaby is an artist when it comes to hopping around the inhospitable rocky mountainsides. She has been spending a lot of time practising, learning to leap with such precision and speed. But despite her impressive acrobatics, her kind is disappearing. With every wallaby lost to an introduced predator, she feels another splash of paint blotting out her future. She hopes she can find a way to stop the brush strokes from falling.
Artwork Features
The iconic style of Gillie and Marc’s Thick Texture Paintings provide the tangible dimensions of a sculpture with the convenient spatial simplicity of a painting. Multiple layers of impasto are mixed with the paint. With each piece, Gillie and Marc are sharing a part of their unique experience through choppy brushstrokes and captivating visuals that create a harmonious image that is more than just a painting.
Please note: All canvases come stretched and ready to hang, however if you would like your painting to be framed, Gillie and Marc are happy to provide this service for you at your request. For framing enquiries please email us.
Care Instructions
It is important to keep your painting out of direct sunlight and not to lean anything against the surface of the canvas. If it gets dusty, it can be cleaned with a soft dry cloth.
