Description
This powerful bronze sculpture was created for Marcellin College in Randwick as a tribute to the school’s spiritual foundation. It depicts Saint Marcellin Champagnat, founder of the Marist Brothers, gently guiding a student forward. With his hand placed reassuringly on the boy’s shoulder, the work captures the values of mentorship, compassion, and faith. The student, dressed in modern attire, represents generations of young men inspired by Saint Marcellin’s vision of education grounded in love and service. Set within the campus grounds, the sculpture is both a symbol of the College’s heritage and an enduring reminder of its commitment to nurturing boys into men of character and integrity.
