Gillie and Marc’s bronze sculpture of Dennis Lillee celebrates one of the most iconic figures in Australian cricket history, permanently honouring him at the WACA Ground, a place deeply connected to his extraordinary career.
Renowned for his speed, intensity and unmistakable presence, Lillee led Australia’s bowling attack for more than a decade. He finished his Test career with 355 wickets from 70 matches and became Test cricket’s leading wicket-taker when he surpassed Lance Gibbs’ record of 309 wickets.
More than a portrait of a sporting legend, the sculpture captures a figure who helped define an era of Western Australian and Australian cricket.
