After the heart-breaking moment learning that the white rhinos where facing imminent extinction, Gillie and Marc had to act. After meeting the last three white rhinos left on the planet, the artists have created one of the most ground-breaking pieces of artistic conservation, creating awareness, encouraging conservation efforts, and making the public fall in love with these gentle giants. This is a smaller replica of the world’s biggest rhino sculpture created by Gillie and Marc that was installed in NYC in 2018, celebrating the final three white rhinos and generating incredible amounts of support for them, except this time of hippos in vibrant colour. Just like these three hippos, Gillie and Marc will stay and fight for them no matter what, just like they did for the rhinos.
