Description
Once upon a time, the ancient Egyptians revered cats. When this little boy heard this he was over the moon! He had always thought people hated his kind. They stalked and hunted his pride with nearly as much precision as his mum and aunties. But if people could learn to love cats like they once were, perhaps it will all be alright.

The iconic style of Gillie and Marc’s Thick Texture Paintings provide the tangible dimensions of a sculpture with the convenient spatial simplicity of a painting. Multiple layers of impasto are mixed with the paint. With each piece, Gillie and Marc are sharing a part of their unique experience through choppy brushstrokes and captivating visuals that create a harmonious image that is more than just a painting.
Please note: All canvases come stretched and ready to hang, however if you would like your painting to be framed, Gillie and Marc are happy to provide this service for you at your request. For framing enquiries please email us.
