Description It’s been an interesting relationship, the one between giant gorillas and New York. What was once fuelled by fear and mistrust was now filled with love and respect. King Nyani had found a home in the heart of NYC and was welcomed by the locals with open arms. He knows that he and all gorillas will be safe here. This special connection will never be broken again.
Artwork Features Gillie and Marc’s latest work is an exciting explosion between their painting and sculpture. With a love for both 2D and 3D work they have created a unique style of work which are in essence sculptured paintings.
Gillie and Marc spent a lot of their early creative life in Ubud, Bali. This was the home of painted wood carvings. They began to collect many Balinese wood carvings and learned how to artistically paint wood. Over the years they experimented in relief woodcuts looking to give it a contemporary feel. Much of their inspiration is looking at traditional art forms like bronze sculpture and wood carving and then creating ways to make it contemporary.
They are excited and proud to introduce their latest and favourite collection “Woodcut POP". These are carved wooden panels primed and sealed and then painted with a pop gloss enamel. These vibrant and exciting works allow the 2D paintings to fly off the wall giving excitement and dimension to wall art. Rabbitgirl and Dogman literally pop off the wall in a 3D effect. The modern explosion of colour and vibrancy is contemporary art at its cutting edge.
Galleries, collectors and corporates across the globe have already fallen in love with Woodcut POP with 10 major commissions now in progress.
Care Instructions It is important to keep your painting out of direct sunlight and not to lean anything against the surface of the wood. If it gets dusty, it can be cleaned with a soft dry cloth.

Gillie and Marc are determined to continue finding a newness in their art. Often their work addresses themes as serious as diversity, acceptance and otherness. However, the artists feel that when someone brings art into their home, it should bring joy and brightness. Gillie and Marc’s Lolly Collection, or Lollies as they’re affectionately known, showcases the brighter side of the artists’ sensibilities. The clear resin has been created to capture and play with the light in a room and to brighten any space. This colourful resin makes an attractive statement piece and will invigorate any home.
Artwork Features Resin is a mixture of materials including urethane, silicone, epoxy and polyester. When creating beautiful sculptures in resin, Gillie and Marc like to have a bit of fun. Sometimes works are crafted in one bold color, sometimes they are splashed with many colors, and sometimes they are even transparent.

Description This vibrant artwork by Gillie and Marc presents a whimsical yet thought-provoking scene featuring a rhinoceros perched atop a banana. The use of bold black outlines combined with a striking blend of colors creates a dynamic contrast, highlighting the surreal nature of the composition. The rhino, typically a symbol of strength and resilience, is depicted in an unexpected, almost playful posture, inviting viewers to ponder the balance between power and fragility. Set against a graffiti-inspired background filled with abstract patterns and neon hues, the piece exudes an urban, contemporary energy. The banana, reminiscent of pop art influences, adds an element of humor and absurdity, reinforcing the idea that perfection is often found in the most unconventional places. Through this unique visual narrative, the artists encourage us to embrace creativity, unpredictability, and the beauty of seeing the world through a different lens.
Artwork Features The purest example of the artist’s freehand work, Gillie and Marc’s ‘Contemporary Line & Stencil Paintings’ are a stunning series that pairs unashamedly bold colors with deep black line work to form intimate moments featuring their signature alter egos, endangered wildlife and more. The carefully selected vivid colors and unmistakable imagery means no two pieces are alike and can have multiple meanings the more they are viewed. Gillie and Marc paint each unique canvas side-by-side ensuring love is engrained in every brushstroke of each one-of-a-kind work of art. Recently inspired by the pop style of Andy Warhol and the iconic stencils of street artists Banksy and Mr. Brainwash, Gillie and Marc expanded their collection with the edgy addition of using spray paint stencils on their canvases. The stark contrast of bright colors beneath a dark stencil breathes life into this limited series, embodying Gillie and Marc’s philosophy of the importance of accessible art by playfully bringing the street to the canvas.

Description Gillie and Marc have always been interested in the ancient Egyptian art practice of putting an animal head on the body of a human. They are also dog-lovers and own a beautiful Weimaraner called Indie. So it only made sense they would create Dogman — a free spirit who is full of love and adventure. Gillie and Marc started to make sculptures and paintings of Dogman but soon realised he deserved a partner. Dogs are arguably one of the most loyal, affectionate beings on the planet and Dogman deserved a soulmate, someone to invite into his big, beautiful heart. As soon as Dogman laid eyes on Rabbitgirl he knew she was his true love. Artwork Features Imagine if we could wear our art so close to our souls that we end up embodying its beauty and meaning. Gillie and Marc have always appreciated creative pieces of jewellery, so it was only a matter of time before they decided to think outside the jewellery box and take jewellery to a whole new level by turning it into art wear.
Gillie and Marc’s gorgeous range of art wear is handcrafted from the highest quality of hypoallergenic materials. And as a beautiful bonus, a percentage of profits goes to various notable charities to protect animals in need. So embody your art, and buy jewellery that can change the world forever.

Description The painting titled "He Was a Duck Out of Water" portrays a stunning scene where a majestic duck is perched atop an oversized rubber ducky. This juxtaposition creates a powerful symbol of feeling out of place or uncomfortable in one's surroundings. The beautiful duck, with its vibrant feathers and graceful presence, represents the individual who stands out from the crowd, perhaps due to their unique qualities or unconventional nature. The oversized rubber ducky, on the other hand, symbolizes the unfamiliar or artificial environment that the duck finds itself in. This painting invites viewers to reflect on the experience of being different and the challenges of navigating unfamiliar territory, while also celebrating the beauty and resilience of those who dare to be themselves in a world that often expects conformity.

Set against a kaleidoscope of urban stencils and street-art textures, the fox radiates charm and wit. He was a greener Dogman and she was a greener Rabbitwoman
Description These unique loving sculptures remind us that, no matter where in the world we live, we all come from the same place and call Mother Earth our home. Gillie and Marc have created their iconic characters, Rabbitwoman and Dogman, to look as though they’re made of beautiful plants. Not only does this lovely textured material go with all types of indoor and outdoor décor, it also expresses the powerful message that love is the most natural thing of all. If two people fall in love, it’s more powerful than any preconceptions such religion, culture, or race. Rabbitwoman and Dogman, for example, come from drastically different backgrounds, and in the wild a Dog and Rabbit would never get along. However, through love, these differences melted away like the snow under the summer sun. These stunning artworks allow you to bring the beauty of the wilderness into your space, reminding you that nature has no rules and to simply let go in love.

We can look to the owls for inspiration as we forge through life. In the darkness of their nocturnal habitat, owls are the light of wisdom, excelling in all they do. Style Contemporary Street Description In this vibrant and whimsical painting, a rainbow-coloured rhino perches confidently on an oversized banana, fusing the majestic with the surreal. With bold strokes and an electric palette, the piece captures the wild spirit of imagination — where the powerful becomes playful, and the unexpected becomes delightful. The banana, a universal symbol of fun and absurdity, becomes a throne for the rhino — an animal often portrayed as stoic and strong. Here, the rhino sheds its usual seriousness, embracing a carefree side that many of us keep hidden. Through this visual pun, the artists invite us to laugh, to let go, and to reconnect with the spontaneous joy of being a little “banana crazy.”

Description This beautiful male is the King. He was born to be his own lion, strolling the great open plains of his home without fear. But there were now so many threats, most of them brought on by people. He wouldn’t let that stop him from living his life. He would always be free.
Artwork Features Sending you to a world of luxury and opulence, this range of gold leaf paintings shows Rabbitwoman and Dogman at their finest. Inspired by the ancient methods of gold leaf and the more contemporary styles of Gustav Klimt, Gillie and Marc are showing the loving journeys of their favourite muses with an extra bit of sparkle. Gold leaf sheets are carefully laid onto the canvas, brushed, and smoothed out, adding a wonderful, glittery effect to its surface. Gillie and Marc believe that every moment can be a luxury. This idea is brought to life in these paintings, with even the simplest moments becoming incredible.

With your support, the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust cares for a generation of orphaned elephants in Kenya, and will help them grow up to be healthy, safe adults. Description In this painting, Dogman is depicted sitting nude, facing forward, inviting viewers to contemplate the vulnerability and rawness of human existence. The absence of clothing strips away societal constructs and expectations, exposing the essence of humanity in its most unadorned form. Dogman's nudity symbolizes a state of authenticity and self-acceptance, embracing imperfections and insecurities without shame or judgment. The painting challenges conventional notions of self-image and body perception, encouraging viewers to confront their own biases and embrace the beauty of individuality. It prompts introspection on the complexities of human nature and invites a deeper understanding and acceptance of our shared humanity.

Description The first time Gillie and Marc saw a wild deer, they were together on a romantic holiday. The captivating image of this magnificent animal has always held a special place in their heart. Both the artists were fascinated and inspired by its commanding yet graceful nature. It’s quite reflective of the two of them! While Dogman and Rabbitwoman are their autobiographical characters, they felt touched by the spirit of a deer in that moment, in a way that brought them even closer together. As such, they elicited Deerman as the best friend of Rabbitwoman and Dogman. The artists share a mutual love for music, and certain songs they hear will bring them back to that wonderful trip where they met their deer friend (pun intended).

Description In a poignant tribute to Sudan, the last remaining male northern white rhino who passed away in March 2018, the painting "He was the last of his kind in the world" captures the essence of his solitary existence. Dripping with hues of blue, the canvas portrays Sudan as a symbol of resilience and fragility, his presence fading into the depths of the cerulean backdrop. Each stroke of the brush echoes his legacy, standing as a solemn reminder of the consequences of human neglect and environmental degradation. Amidst the swirling hues, Sudan's silhouette remains a poignant reminder of the irreplaceable loss of biodiversity and the urgent need for conservation efforts.

Description Lewis was one of Australia’s dwindling population of wild koalas.
In January 2020, bushfires ravaged his home and caused him severe burns, eventually leading to his death. But even before the fires hit, Lewis was at risk. Human activity has resulted in habitat destruction and climate change, all of which have significantly reduced Australia’s koala population over the last 20 years. This little koala pendant is a loving reminder that wherever we are in the world, we share a space with precious animals that deserve to be safe in the wild. Artwork Features Imagine if we could wear our art so close to our souls that we end up embodying its beauty and meaning. Description Gillie first had her ears pierced when she was 11 years old. She recalls how nervous she was but also how it symbolised her breaking away from her childhood. At the time she only had the choice of wearing little gold studs, but even so it gave her the piece of individuality she craved so much. Today, Gillie has five holes in her ears and prefers to wear silver.

Style Contemporary Pop Art, Romanticism, Adventure Description Rabbitwoman and Dogman ride a brilliant blue dinosaur through a neon-lit city, blending past and future in a single daring adventure. Their calm expressions contrast with the creature’s roar, celebrating courage and playful imagination. Bold colours and sharp lines capture the thrill of exploring worlds both real and fantastical. Together they show that love and unity can tame even the most untamed of companions. This artwork invites viewers to embrace wonder and follow their hearts beyond the ordinary.
