Description Flowers make everything a little bit more wonderful. They are filled with colour, fragrance, and positivity and can make every space seem a little bit brighter. Rabbitwoman and Dogman loved flowers so much they made sure they had them in every room. And when they went out adventuring, they looked all around to see the new flowers they hadn’t seen before.
Artwork Features Gillie and Marc’s latest work is an exciting explosion between their painting and sculpture. With a love for both 2D and 3D work they have created a unique style of work which are in essence sculptured paintings.
Gillie and Marc spent a lot of their early creative life in Ubud, Bali. This was the home of painted wood carvings. They began to collect many Balinese wood carvings and learned how to artistically paint wood. Over the years they experimented in relief woodcuts looking to give it a contemporary feel. Much of their inspiration is looking at traditional art forms like bronze sculpture and wood carving and then creating ways to make it contemporary.
They are excited and proud to introduce their latest and favourite collection “Woodcut POP". These are carved wooden panels primed and sealed and then painted with a pop gloss enamel. These vibrant and exciting works allow the 2D paintings to fly off the wall giving excitement and dimension to wall art. Rabbitgirl and Dogman literally pop off the wall in a 3D effect. The modern explosion of colour and vibrancy is contemporary art at its cutting edge.
Galleries, collectors and corporates across the globe have already fallen in love with Woodcut POP with 10 major commissions now in progress.
Care Instructions It is important to keep your painting out of direct sunlight and not to lean anything against the surface of the wood. If it gets dusty, it can be cleaned with a soft dry cloth.

Description Featured in Sculpture By The Sea 2015 The idea behind this sculpture is to discuss the effect humans have on animals which is symbolised through the rope pulling the fish down and restricting its movement. We chose the flying fish because they are an animal that has adapted to survive in the face of loss of habitat and changing temperatures. They may have even seen their population increase as a result. Still, the fact remains that humans are destroying their habitat and eventually there will be less places for them to fly to. One day there might even be nowhere left. Flying Fish challenges the idea of humans relationships with animals by asking us to ponder if the fish is succeeding in the face of it's challenges or is it about to be grappled to Earth by the rope lasso? The Sculpture is in three components. The Flying Fish is Bronze painted fibreglass with a galvanized steel internal crossbar the pole rope is a galvanized steel pole with a rust proof painted 16mm mild steel base and fiberglass cladding and the Base Coil rope component is painted fibreglass only.

Description With the lift on the ban of rhino horns for traditional medicine in China, the plight of the rhino seems to be going from bad to worse. Struggling to leave the threat of extinction behind, the rhino is still being hunted mercilessly by poachers for its priceless horn. Tied to this awful fate, we need to push past this reality, making the world understand the worth of the rhino while it’s still alive, not just for its horn. Description The Bengal tiger in India, the top of the food chain, should theoretically have nothing to worry about. But this is very far from the reality of their lives. Trying to leap, the Bengal tiger is being lassoed and pulled down by the conflict and greed of humans. There are only 2,500 left in the wild, and with the lift of the Chinese ban on the use of tiger parts in traditional medicines, this number will dwindle even further. We need to cut the rope and set these beautiful creatures free before they will never be able to fly again.

Description Fred Tracey was one of the foremost promoters and pioneers of Sprint car racing in Australia, and contributed much to the Australian speedway during the 1950s. Tracey took on management of the nearby Kirjon Speedway in 1951 renaming it Tracey’s Speedway, located near Highpoint in Maribyrnong Reserve, off Raleigh Road. Under his management and with wife Beryl, the track went on to become one of Australia’s top venues hosting a range of Australian and overseas star performers.
Like all speedways, the track was famous for many memorable moments including an event in 1953 where Tracey was lucky to escape serious injury during the Speedcar Butchers’ Picnic, where a car bounced off the fence at 70mph, and missed Tracey by mere centimetres.
The main grandstand for the speedway still exists on the edge of the Maribyrnong Reserve, with the Victorian Classic & Vintage Speedway Club hosting an annual Tracey’s Speedway Reunion each year.
Highpoint is proud to present the Fred Tracey commemorative sculpture as part of its Highpoint Art Journey.

Description Freda is the unquestionable Queen of the jungle. She knows every tiny bit of her domain, prowling through with precision and grace. All the other creatures revere her, giving her the space she needs to be happy. But there are some who don’t treat her with respect. They are humans, hunting tigers to steal their coats and use their body parts for ineffective medicines. Now she is asking for that to all stop. Will you protect Freda?
Artwork Features Sending you to a world of luxury and opulence, this range of gold leaf paintings shows Rabbitwoman and Dogman and all wildlife at their finest. Inspired by the ancient methods of gold leaf and the more contemporary styles of Gustav Klimt, Gillie and Marc are showing the loving journeys of their favourite muses and all endangered wildlife with an extra bit of sparkle. Gold leaf sheets are carefully laid onto the canvas, brushed, and smoothed out, adding a wonderful, glittery effect to its surface. Gillie and Marc believe that every moment can be a luxury. This idea is brought to life in these paintings, with even the simplest moments becoming incredible.

Description In this exhilarating artwork, Dogman and Rabbitwoman zoom down a snowy mountain side by side, their movements perfectly in sync. Dressed in bright ski gear that contrasts vividly against the icy peaks and painted sky, they express pure freedom and connection. The scene is alive with colour and energy, reminding us that life’s coldest moments can also be the most thrilling when shared with someone special. It’s a bold celebration of adventure, courage, and love on the slopes.
Artwork Features The purest example of the artist’s freehand work, Gillie and Marc’s ‘Contemporary Line & Stencil Paintings’ are a stunning series that pairs unashamedly bold colors with deep black line work to form intimate moments featuring their signature alter egos, endangered wildlife and more. The carefully selected vivid colors and unmistakable imagery means no two pieces are alike and can have multiple meanings the more they are viewed. Gillie and Marc paint each unique canvas side-by-side ensuring love is engrained in every brushstroke of each one-of-a-kind work of art. Recently inspired by the pop style of Andy Warhol and the iconic stencils of street artists Banksy and Mr. Brainwash, Gillie and Marc expanded their collection with the edgy addition of using spray paint stencils on their canvases. The stark contrast of bright colors beneath a dark stencil breathes life into this limited series, embodying Gillie and Marc’s philosophy of the importance of accessible art by playfully bringing the street to the canvas.

Description Inspired by the true story and the film ‘Born Free’, this sculpture is a celebration of an orphaned lion cub who was saved by a loving couple. In Northern Kenya, a game warden called George Adamson was sent to deal with a lion who killed a man. Finding three cubs that were left behind he took them home to his wife, Joy, naming them Big One, Lastika and Elsa. They raised the cubs themselves rehoming two at a zoo. But they had formed a special connection with Elsa. They decided to release her to the wild and started the difficult journey of teaching her to fend for herself. After a lot of setbacks including a lack of hunting skills, being attacked by a warthog, and even becoming seriously injured after a different attack, Elsa found her feet. With a lot of hard work and dedication, they taught her how to be a wild cat and set her free in Kenya. Elsa grew to have cubs of her own, starting a new generation of lions that would have never been.
In the sculpture, Elsa stands on a 1961 landrover surrounded by orphan cubs, 20 in total. There are also two couples of adult lions, George and Joy, and Bill and Virginia, representing the real-life couple who raised the little orphaned Elsa, and the actors who played them in the movie. The cubs symbolise the future generations of lions.
If you purchase any of the lions, 30% will go directly to the Born Free Foundation.

Description "Get Papped" is a striking painting that captures the essence of modern celebrity culture and the invasive nature of paparazzi. In the forefront, four anthropomorphic dog-like figures represent the relentless pursuit of fame and the relentless gaze of the media, each equipped with a camera aimed directly at the viewer. The bold, vibrant pop background serves as a metaphor for the superficiality and spectacle often associated with celebrity, while also highlighting the larger-than-life nature of those pursued by the paparazzi. This painting invites contemplation on the voyeuristic nature of our society and the complex relationship between celebrity and public scrutiny.
Artwork Features The iconic style of Gillie and Marc’sThick Texture Paintingsprovide the tangible dimensions of a sculpture with the convenient spatial simplicity of a painting. Description Giraffes are some of the most curious creatures out there. With their beautiful long necks, they are an icon of African wildlife. Always imagining they will be around forever, it’s hard to believe that their numbers have declined by 30% in only 3 decades. Poaching and the destruction of their habitats have left giraffe numbers to dwindle. As part of the series ‘Come out for a better tomorrow’, the giraffe cautiously looks out of a manhole, bending its neck backwards to check if it’s safe to come out. This sculpture series calls for awareness of our impact on the world and to allow every living creature the right to feel safe and loved.

"Go Flamingo" encourages viewers to take action in safeguarding our fragile ecosystems and the creatures that inhabit them.

Description In the lively painting titled "Go Go Go All Day," Rabbitwoman and Dogman are depicted cruising in a bright red car, with Rabbitwoman confidently sitting in the passenger seat and Dogman focused on driving. The vibrant stencil and spray paint artwork showcases a background filled with energetic swirls of colorful graffiti, symbolizing motion and excitement. The license plate reads "1 LOVE," highlighting the affectionate bond between the two characters. This dynamic piece captures the essence of an adventurous day, with the couple embracing the thrill of the ride and the joy of being together, exuding a sense of unbridled enthusiasm and love for life.
