Description A tank is rolling in, but don’t be afraid. This one will never shoot a round ever again. Here to save the day is a beautiful elephant, crushing the tank to useless metal and leaving the world a little bit safer.
The elephant is symbolic on many levels. Elephants are one of the most iconic creatures on the planet, and also the largest. Its crushing weight shows physically the power of the natural world, yet also its importance. An elephant will always be worth more than a piece of machinery.
Yet it’s also a symbol of triumph. Elephants are one animal that has been massively impacted by the many wars that have raged through their homes. Their ivory tusks have always been a pull for poachers. But in war times, elephant poaching is even more rampant, and their tusks are sold off to buy resources to fuel the war effort. Now, the elephant is the victor. He has taken out the tank and created peace for us all.

Description Many people think that elephants can’t have fun. Well, these two elephants are here to prove that’s simply not true! Genie and Martha would never pass up the opportunity to play in a pool. They had perfected their cannonball. They loved to watch the massive rippling effect that their great bulk could produce as they splashed into the water. Every waterhole their herd stopped off at they would practice. It was the best fun!

Description In Elephants Forever, a young elephant sits tenderly beside its plush toy counterpart, symbolizing comfort, companionship, and innocence. The gentle interaction between the real elephant and the stuffed animal highlights the warmth and loyalty often associated with these majestic creatures. The contrasting textures—smooth, lifelike skin versus the soft, worn fabric of the toy—enhance the sense of nostalgia and affection. Elephants Forever invites viewers to reflect on the enduring nature of friendship and the comforting connections we form, even with objects that remind us of simpler, more innocent times.
Artwork Features Bringing all your favourite things to life, from that pair of converse sneakers you wear every day to your most precious teacup, and pairing them with some of the most endangered animals in the world, Gillie and Marc are giving a unique perspective on the things we consider to be most important. Over the past five years, Gillie and Marc spent hours sketching and studying wildlife, travelling the globe to meet these animals up close. These sketches have now been brought to life in vibrant colour with love and passion. Each painting is created as a team with both the artists bringing their own emotion into every painting. Description High above the clouds, we can look down at the earth, watching the ant-sized antelopes crossing the Serengeti or the monumental trees of the Virunga forests descending to the size of broccoli. It’s a unique perspective that helps us to really appreciate the beautiful interconnectedness of everything. We are all tiny, but together we are huge.
Some of Gillie and Marc’s fondest memories have been looking at the world from this perspective, flying above some of nature's marvels in an aeroplane. They have taken thousands of photos of wildlife from above, flying across some of the most spectacular landscapes of Africa.
Now they have transformed these experiences into their very first exhibition of sculpture wall art. In a spectacular experiment combining traditional 2D paintings with sculpture, Gillie and Marc have recreated exactly how it feels to view these wild scenes from the sky. The tiny rhinos pop out of the wall as they go about their day, and the zebra herds gallop beyond the frame as they cross the plains of canvas to the unknown. Above A Wild World gives us a new perspective, capturing the very essence of what a bright future for all wildlife could look like.
Artwork Features This groundbreaking new style of sculpture wall art is merging the practices of sculpture and traditional paintings, creating a unique 3D work that conveniently hangs on your wall. By incorporating objects or cloth on the canvas with ample impasto, these works become so much more than just a painting. Finished off with either paint or spray paint, the final product transcends the constraints of both traditional sculpture and painting to create a work of depth and substance.
Please note: All canvases come stretched and ready to hang, however if you would like your painting to be framed, Gillie and Marc are happy to provide this service for you at your request. For framing enquiries please email us.

Description Inspired by the true story and the film ‘Born Free’, this sculpture is a celebration of an orphaned lion cub who was saved by a loving couple. In Northern Kenya, a game warden called George Adamson was sent to deal with a lion who killed a man. Finding three cubs that were left behind he took them home to his wife, Joy, naming them Big One, Lastika and Elsa. They raised the cubs themselves rehoming two at a zoo. But they had formed a special connection with Elsa. They decided to release her to the wild and started the difficult journey of teaching her to fend for herself. After a lot of setbacks including a lack of hunting skills, being attacked by a warthog, and even becoming seriously injured after a different attack, Elsa found her feet. With a lot of hard work and dedication, they taught her how to be a wild cat and set her free in Kenya. Elsa grew to have cubs of her own, starting a new generation of lions that would have never been.
In the sculpture, Elsa stands on a 1961 landrover surrounded by orphan cubs, 20 in total. There are also two couples of adult lions, George and Joy, and Bill and Virginia, representing the real-life couple who raised the little orphaned Elsa, and the actors who played them in the movie. The cubs symbolise the future generations of lions.
If you purchase any of the lions, 30% will go directly to the Born Free Foundation.

Description Emoli's Story On the 23rd of August visitors to Tsavo East came across a calf collapsed and barely breathing along the Voi river circuit. The drought in the southern sector of Tsavo has really hit wildlife hard, particularly the elephants that have remained in that area, with many Mums’ and their calves succumbing to the dry conditions, because while water remains it’s the scarcity of food that is the challenge. Sadly the mothers with young calves have been unable to travel the distances required to find better browse, so choose to remain anchored close to water points, and because of this they are more often than not the first casualties of such brutal droughts. This area of Tsavo is experiencing one of the worst in many decades, with poor rains for two years in a row, so in the recent months we have experienced as many as 100 elephants dying from this 2017 drought in the southern area of Tsavo, and sadly numerous calves, found too late to save.
Tagwa's Story On 6th May Angela was called by Simon Gitau, Senior Warden Mount Kenya, with reports of an orphaned elephant sighted in community lands, abandoned by the elephant herds of Mount Kenya National Park. The community thankfully were elephant friendly and sought to find assistance for the little baby alerting 'Kenya Wildlife Service' (KWS) personnel in the area.
Emoli and Tagwa are part of Gillie and Marc's exhibition - The Orphans.

This is a sculpture that represents more than orphaned calves. This is a yearlong celebration of hope and strength for the generation who will grow up into the healthy and supported elephants of tomorrow thanks to the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. The future of their species in the wild relies on this young generation being strong. Strength we can all help to provide. Because by December next year, when this sculpture leaves London, they’ll have only 19 years left to defy the odds with another generation to follow. This is a sculpture for positive change. One we won’t let become a memorial.

Description This 'Round and Around With Wildlife' collection jumps right at you! Combining painting and sculpture, Rabbitwoman, Dogman and all the endangered animals of the world to burst off the wall in vibrant colour, refusing to be ignored or forgotten, giving new life and hope for their survival. Creating some of the world’s most innovative public sculptures, Gillie and Marc are re-designing what public art should be, spreading messages of love, equality, and conservation around the world. As part of the Love The Last project, Gillie and Marc are using their cutting edge contemporary art to showcase the beautiful animals of the world, to encourage people to not overlook and forget them.
Artwork Features Gillie and Marc’s latest work is an exciting explosion between their painting and sculpture. With a love for both 2D and 3D work they have created a unique style of work which are in essence sculptured paintings.
Gillie and Marc spent a lot of their early creative life in Ubud, Bali. This was the home of painted wood carvings. They began to collect many Balinese wood carvings and learned how to artistically paint wood. Over the years they experimented in relief woodcuts looking to give it a contemporary feel. Much of their inspiration is looking at traditional art forms like bronze sculpture and wood carving and then creating ways to make it contemporary.
They are excited and proud to introduce their latest and favourite collection “Woodcut POP". These are carved wooden panels primed and sealed and then painted with a pop gloss enamel. These vibrant and exciting works allow the 2D paintings to fly off the wall giving excitement and dimension to wall art. Rabbitgirl and Dogman literally pop off the wall in a 3D effect. The modern explosion of colour and vibrancy is contemporary art at its cutting edge.
Galleries, collectors and corporates across the globe have already fallen in love with Woodcut POP with 10 major commissions now in progress.

In a groundbreaking work of contemporary art Gillie and Marc are giving us a rare glimpse into what extinction looks like. With a close up of Australia’s most threatened bird and one of the world’s rarest parrots, the orange-bellied parrot, this unique form of conservation lets us see the last 50 wild individuals left on the planet with a beautiful close up.
“It can be difficult to imagine what extinction looks like so we wanted to create a work that would help the public visually understand what this means,” explains Gillie.
With 50 stunning paintings, the artists have captured the dwindling numbers of this endangered parrot in a series that can all fit on one wall. It is a sobering exhibit to help bring understanding to this important issue and inspire conservation.

Description These unique loving sculptures remind us that, no matter where in the world we live, we all come from the same place and call Mother Earth our home. Gillie and Marc have created their iconic characters, Rabbitwoman and Dogman, to look as though they’re made of beautiful plants. Not only does this lovely textured material go with all types of indoor and outdoor décor, it also expresses the powerful message that love is the most natural thing of all. If two people fall in love, it’s more powerful than any preconceptions such religion, culture, or race. Rabbitwoman and Dogman, for example, come from drastically different backgrounds, and in the wild a Dog and Rabbit would never get along. However, through love, these differences melted away like the snow under the summer sun. These stunning artworks allow you to bring the beauty of the wilderness into your space, reminding you that nature has no rules and to simply let go in love.

Transforming from its traditional grey to a moss green, he is out to make sure everyone is paying attention. Every day, 55 elephants are killed because of ivory poaching and human-wildlife conflict.

Description The Rabbit and Dog family always stood by one another, through thick or thin. Their bond was so strong that they knew they would always have each other's back, no matter what. They thought this was the best way to be. They could get through the toughest crisis, enjoy the best celebrations, and live an incredibly full life. They will always stand together.
Artwork Features Sending you to a world of luxury and opulence, this range of gold leaf paintings shows Rabbitwoman and Dogman and all wildlife at their finest. Inspired by the ancient methods of gold leaf and the more contemporary styles of Gustav Klimt, Gillie and Marc are showing the loving journeys of their favourite muses and all endangered wildlife with an extra bit of sparkle. Gold leaf sheets are carefully laid onto the canvas, brushed, and smoothed out, adding a wonderful, glittery effect to its surface. Gillie and Marc believe that every moment can be a luxury. This idea is brought to life in these paintings, with even the simplest moments becoming incredible.

Description A council approached Gillie and Marc and asked them for a sculpture that would unify their community, while paying homage to its character and incredible history. The artists were inspired by the city’s rich farming background, which gave it a very admirable development. It’s because of farmers that communities are able to survive and flourish! The artists created a life-size sculpture of a farmer, with a friendly side-kick! It’s well known that farmers possess an important relationship with animals, and Gillie and Marc wanted to honour this, as well as bring an element of fun into the work. That’s why they created a dog to go with the farmer, adding another dimension to the art The farmer and dog sculpture became a destination in its own right, which led visitors to gain a deeper understanding of community’s roots, and with that, instilled a sense of pride in its residents.

Installed permanently at the Maitland Art Gallery. Fetch Boy is one of Gillie and Marc’s most recognisable and controversial works. It’s on permanent display at Maitland Regional Art Gallery and is a favourite of both locals and tourists. When Fetch Boy went on a brief hiatus, everyone was aghast. The Maitland Mercury covered its departure and the gallery even threw a “pooch picnic” to celebrate its return. The three-metre tall, suit-wearing dog who is picking up its own poo, caused a stir from the moment of its installation. “Within half an hour of him being placed in his grassy, well fenced ‘yard’ we had people come in, who’d never been inside the gallery before, asking about our dog and if they could get a closer look,” explained Gallery Curator, Cheryl Farrell. “Within a day we had the Maitland Mercury down to take a photo for a front page feature, and within two days the Sydney Telegraph were in touch to take photos and write a story. Within a week a new route had been established by families visiting the gallery that incorporated a visit to Fetch Boy before coming through the front doors.”

Description This vibrant and energetic painting features a kangaroo in full boxing gloves, exuding strength and readiness for action. The bold colors—bright reds, yellows, and pinks—pop against the rich brown background, creating a dynamic and playful contrast. The kangaroo’s muscular build and fierce expression convey its confidence and power, while the abstract brushstrokes emphasize movement and energy. This piece captures the essence of determination and resilience, showcasing the kangaroo as both a symbol of nature’s strength and an unexpected fighter in the ring.
Artwork Features In this highly expressive and passionate style Gillie and Marc have let their emotions run free in this explosive collection of freehand painting. Inspired by the styles of Brett Whiteley, Francis Bacon, and Jean-Michel Basquiat, Gillie and Marc have combined enamel paint with oil pastel to breathe life into the worlds most endangered species. Over the past five years, Gillie and Marc spent hours sketching and studying wildlife, travelling the globe to meet these animals up close. These sketches have now been brought to life in vibrant colour with love and passion. Each painting is created as a team with both the artists bringing their own emotion into every painting.
